If you ask someone of they are saves and they say “I hope so” to us that is an unsatisfactory answer.
Hope does have a stronger side. When we hope in the word of God, we can be sure that our hope is well placed. The future is bright.
The writer has hope in God’s word. The promises, principles, and the precepts in God’s word meet the needs in life.
They are promises to not to certain individuals under certain circumstances. They are promrises made to all that believe in God’s word.
Hope, like light shines brightest in the darkness. The object of our hope is bases on the God’s word.
4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
