Carnal Christians(2)

1 Corinthians 3:1-11

3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Pray:

Most of us know someone who is slow to develop. Slow to mature. There was a time when we referred to those who were incapable of developing or maturing beyond a certain point as retarded. Which just means:

less advanced in mental, physical, or social development than is usual for one's age.

There are many Christians in the modern church that this can be said of. They have not advanced or matured mentally or socially as much as they should have. Add to that the number of Christians who have just made the choice to never grow. They have never grown up. They cannot handle the meat of the word of God. All they know is the milk. And they have no interest in the meat. They have no interest in maturing. That is what the apostle Paul is saying about the church members here in Corinth.

Paul says I could not speak to you as I would a mature Christian. I gave you milk. Because I know if I gave you meat that you would choke on it. You are carnal minded. In other words, you are a Christian, but you still think like the world. You do not have the mind of Christ. You cannot handle the truth of the word of God because you are carnal minded. When I read this passage I often wonder what Paul was going to say to the church at Corinth. No doubt he had some very deep message planned for them. But the second he realized that they were too immature. He had to switch his message to a lecture.

Being a minister for as long as I have, I have seen this play out time and time again. I have been in churches teaching the word of God and I have dropped hints about things that were deep truths. And almost immediately the immature Christian in the group will step forward with his or her two cents worth. As if to say to me. If you go down that path I’m taking my bible and I’m going home.

There is no doubt in my mind that many if not most of our churches today are carnal minded much like the church in Corinth. They are unaware of just how much the church has become like the world. They are blind to the fact that the church has been so influenced by society that most of them are nothing more than just religious organizations. And the second that you bring the bible into the discussion you will be shown the door.

Paul said they couldn’t bear to absorb the meat of the word. And it is because they have never grown spiritually. If you try to give meat to a baby, he will choke. But a baby should only be a baby for a short time. Eventually that baby should be a young man eating steak.

The case with carnally minded Christians is that they choose to stay babes. They make the choice to reject the meat of the word of God. Paul understood this. He knew what it was like to prepare a sermon loaded with truth. Only to discern that the Christians, there would reject it. Some of them 50 years old and still acting like teenagers. Adults who are kids in adult’s bodies. They willfully reject the more difficult truths in the word of God.

Folks we come to the church to learn. We come to the church to grow. But how can we learn and grow when we are carnally minded? One difference between a spiritually minded Christian and a carnally minded Christian is this. A carnally minded Christian cannot be taught anything new. The carnal minded Christian will immediately reject any new truth in favor of a falsehood they had previously learned.

For example: If a carnal Christian was taught early on that they must be baptized in order to be saved. No amount of bible verses will change that Christians mind. They were once taught a form of works salvation. And they will not examine that teaching at all. They are stuck in the mindset that on judgement day God will put his good works on one side and his bad works on the other and that and that only will determine whether or not he makes it to heaven.

Now you can quote Ephesians 2:8 all you want. You can quote John 10:27 all day long. But because that person is carnally minded they will not grow regardless of how much truth you offer them. I have preached in churches where I quoted these verses and had people walk out. Angry because I was teaching once saved always saved. Is that the act of a mature Christian? I don’t think so.

And folks listen to me. There is so much more in the word of God than is being taught in our churches today. Things that people will NEVER accept. Why? Because of their spiritual immaturity.

I quoted this last week. But Paul said when I was a child I spake as a child I acted as a child.

Paul knew that people could not separate their ego’s from their opinions. And we are very very much that way as a country today. And its poison. Anytime someone posts something on social media there is a comment section. And in these comment sections you will see people posting their opinions as facts. And if you bring proof that their opinion is wrong how often do they say, thank you. I wasn’t aware that I was wrong? Rarely if ever, right?

Most the time you get an angry response. Why so angry? Because being right is more important to them than anything else. People identify with their beliefs. It’s personal to them. Ladies and gentlemen that is part of what it means to be carnally minded. Ego matters more than the facts.

And that way of thinking had found its way into the church of Corinth and it is very much a part of our churches today.

So let me ask you this question. Do you really want to understand the word of God? Do you want to understand the deeper meanings and the truth of Gods teachings? If your answer is yes, then you must check your ego at the door. Allow yourself the freedom to re-examine everything you think is true. I have said many times that God has no fear of us questioning Him. That is the same attitude we must have in order to grow.

We must put away childish things. Think about what Paul is saying here. He’s saying I wanted to teach you. But you were unteachable because you were all still acting like children.

And what do children do? They fight amongst themselves over silly things like. “Who started it” Remember that one? Well, the pastor started it. Well, the Sunday school teacher started it. Well, the deacon started it. Children. Carnal. In verse 3 look Paul says: Envy strife divisions.

The mark of an immature Christian is right there. Envy, strife, and divisions. The believer cannot handle the issue in a mature way. The baby has a toy that they want. And they will wine and cry and attack the kid that has the toy they want. They are selfish and self-centered.

Listen to me church. The people in this building today are our brothers and sisters in Christ. This fellowship belongs to God. Shame on any Christian who doesn’t treat his fellow man with dignity and respect. Especially those who are in Christ and with us. Children can be very cruel to each other. As parents it is our job to teach our children to love others. When we fail to do so we have failed our church and our community.

The average church today is providing nothing more than milk. If you got up into that church and said thus saith the Lord, they would run you out. If you are fortunate enough to find a Pastor who is going to tell you the truth. Then I suggest you park yourself there and grow.

Just look at all the church splitting going on today. There will be a new church in town next week because there was a church split last week. Over and over, you have immature Christians taking his or her ball and going home. Immaturity, carnality, worldliness. If I had a dollar for every time, I handed someone a gospel tract and got the response. Those church people are all a bunch of hypocrites I’d be rich. And the sad part is I can offer no rebuttal. Everyone wants to run the church. Everyone wants to have an opinion. And everyone thinks that his or her opinion is the gospel. And if you don’t accept it well they will just find another church who will.

I got news for you. You aren’t infallible. Only God is perfect.

Look at verse 4 again.

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

These members at Corinth were arguing over which minister brought them to Christ. And Paul settles it by saying God gives the increase. Telling them once again that they were fighting amongst themselves over things that do not matter.

The purpose of the ministry isn’t building buildings it is building people. It is helping people to mature into being more like Christ and less like the world. That is the goal of the ministry.

Now look at verse 8.

8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

We are laborer’s together with God. When we work for God, we work with God. God works through us and for us ministering to us, we are partners with Him. He is at our side; he is interested in what we are doing for Him. He has promised to help in our labor for Him. God is not a bystander. He participates in the work that He gives to us to do. We are the work of God. We are the building that matters the most to God. And note it says that we will receive the reward for our labour. I wonder how many people will make it to heaven without a reward because they were too immature to do the work of God.

Now I am going to be controversial. And what I am about to say should not be controversial at all. But the church has become so much like the world that many will reject this TRUTH. But I want you to pray for the Holy Spirit to open your heart to receive the TRUTH. Here goes.

The New Testament Church has been enslaved by old Mosaic covenants and fulfilled prophecies. To the point that many so called churches are openly supporting the works of the anti-Christ. And here is what I mean by this. Pay close attention. Because it is very important that we all learn this:

The Anti-Christ is building a temple in Israel. I have lost count of the number of people who are buying those coins with Cyrus on one side and Trump on the other to support the building of a Temple for the Jews in Israel. But folks the Temple in the New Testament isn’t a building.

1 Corinthians 6:19 says:

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

We no longer build temples for sacrifices like we did in the Old Testament. Because the sacrifice that Christ made on calvary put an end to any need for such sacrifices. And God destroyed the Temple in 70 A.D. in Jerusalem for that reason. Today we are the temple.

Any attempt to build a physical building and call it a temple of God is a repudiation of the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, the work of the Holy Spirit informing the body of Christ in the church. And the work of God in the church as the temple of God in the new covenant. In other words, it is sacrilege and blasphemy.

Who are these Christians who are aiding and abeding an anti-Christ building?

Now before I go any further, I want to ask you. Are you mature enough to hear the truth? Can you handle some meat from God’s word.

Turn with me to 1 Thessalonians 2:14,15 KJV

14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

We know that the bible teaches us that the Jews were killing Christians, right? Turn with me to Matthew 23:29

29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

So, Christ is telling us that the Jews will kill the people he sends. Just as the Jews killed the prophets in the Old Testament. Is this the action of God’s chosen? Then notice in verse 36 Christ curses their generation that word translates race. So, Christ cursed the entire race of the Jews. By the way notice that Jesus made the Jews responsible for the murder of Abel in verse 35. Who is responsible for the death of Abel? Cain, right? What Christ is telling us here is that the Jews are the seed of Cain and not the seed of Adam.

Turn to John 10:22

22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

So, Jesus told the Jews that they were not His sheep. How can that be?

John 8:31-48

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

So, they told Jesus they were never in bondage. But we know that the Hebrews were in bondage in Egypt, Syria and Babylon. Then they claimed that they were not born in fornication. But they were born of fornication. This is how they are both of Abraham’s seed and also not of Abrahams seed. What was Christ telling us? He was telling us the the Jews are the seed of Esau who was the seed of Abraham but because Esau disobeyed God and married 4 Hittite women that his descendants became the seed of Cain as Cain was off limits to the children of Israel. Because as Christ said in John 8:44 CAIN was the child of the devil. The parable of the tares explains this again. The devil is the one who sowed the tares, remember?

We often think how could Eve have been so easily deceived by the serpent or Nakash which translates enchanter or magician. But the truth is that Eve was superior to us in every way. We look at her sin and judge that she wasn’t too bright. And we never once consider that we ourselves could be fooled by that very same enchanter. So I ask you. Have we been deceived into believing that the devils children are Gods chosen ones?

If you want more proof get a copy of the Jewish encyclopedia. They repeat it over and over in their own writings. It says in Book 5 and page 41 of the Jewish encyclopedia that Jews are the descendants of Esau and therefore Edomites and NOT Israel.

Turn with me to Revelation 2:9

9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Now let’s look at recent history. Since the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia between 1917 and 1991. The Jews in Russia murdered anywhere from 60 to 135 million Christians.

Look it up. Where are the movies mourning the loss of these people? There is a new movie on the holocaust every single week. What about the blood on the hands of the Jews? Why don’t we hear about this? Joseph Stalin was Jewish, The father of Communism Karl Marx was Jewish, his real name is Mordecai Levy. Moses Hess the co-founder of socialism again Jewish. Leon Trotsky, Jewish.

Vladymir Lenin? Jewish. Lev Kamonov also Jewish. Gregory Apfelvan also Jewish. Alexander Pavrus Jewish. Jacob Sverlow the man who personally butchered the Russian royal family. Jewish. I could go on and on and on. The found of the Satanic Church Anton Lavay is? You guessed it Jewish.

80% of the slave ships that brought slaves to America were owned by Jews. In fact, it was the European peoples who ended slavery. Yet the Jews say non-stop that slavery was done by whites against blacks. Another lie from the father of lies. In fact, the first slave in America was a white man who was owned by a black man.

The owners of the Federal Reserve Bank in America today? Jewish family Rothstein. And what do they do with all their wealth? Promote Jews to power. Look at the Biden cabinet. Almost all Jews. People who have their citizenship in Israel and America. And are they blessing us with their presence?

Since 1948 has America become a more prosperous nation for supporting fake Israel? I don’t think so. The Jews have subverted everything about Christian culture through Hollywood and the media.

The Jews own and run the pornography industry. The Jews were behind feminism. The Jews were behind gay rights. The Jews are now supporting the transgender movement. Anything that is anti-Christian you see in America you will see a Jew hiding behind it.

They have been controlling our nations money since 1913. They now control our food supply. They control our media. We give 38 billion a year to Israel. We fight their wars in the middle east. They run our government completely. You cannot be elected unless you pledge your allegiance to Israel first. Did you know that?

Now I know what you are thinking. Brother Tim you sound anti-semitic. Well my fathers side is from the tribe of Dan and my mothers side is from the side of Ephraim. I am semitic. Jews are NOT semitic. To be semitic you have to be a descendent of Shem. They are descendents of Cain.

So why risk alienating all of you to share this truth? BC I am sounding the alarm for the church. Do any of us really believe that once they completely establish communism here that there won’t be a repeat of what they did in Russia? What Jesus told us they would do in Matthew 23? Are you prepared to die for your faith? Are you even mature enough to accept this truth?

Believe me I could fill this message with weeks of evidence about who these people really are and what they are doing in America and throughout the world with their one world satanic government.

Just look at the Jewish flag. They call it the star of David. But there is no such thing as the star of David in the bible. There is the star of Remphram in the book of Acts also known as the star of Moloch or Satan. Want to know what the star of Satan looks like? IT has six, six, six hidden in it. Herod was an Edomite according to every historian of the time. But he claimed to be a Hebrew.

Herod ordered the killing of all children under two in an attempt to kill the infant, Jesus. This can be found in Matthew 2:16
