Deuteronomy 10: 12 -14

(12) And now, Israel what is the LORD your God asking from you? But to fear the LORD your God, in order to walk in all His ways in order to love Him and in order to serve the LORD your God; with all your heart, and with all your soul.
(13) In order to watch over the commandments of the LORD and of His statutes; which I am commanding you this day for your good.
(14)Behold, to the LORD your God belong the heavens, and the heaves of the heavens, the earth and all that is in it.
Exegetical Observations:
I think that the opening clause in verse 12, functions as a rhetorical question, it seems that this 1st clause it serves here as a reaffirmation of what are the expectations which the LORD has already revealed to His people, for the realizations of the covenant promises amongst them. Therefore, we could say that the demands that are being commanded in verse 13, which Moses is telling them to keep on that specific day, are new מִצְוָה and חֻקֹּתָ֔יו (commandments and statutes).

1 Kings 8: 55 - 58

(55) And he stood up, and blessed all of the assembly of Israel with a loud voice.
(56) Blessed be the LORD, who gave rest to His people Israel, according to all that He spoke, not one word fell from all his good word which he spoke by the hand of Moses His servant.
(57) May the LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers, may He not leave us, and he will not forsake us.
(58) To incline our hearts toward to walk in all His ways, and to guard His judgments, which he commanded our fathers.
