Sight is what you see with your eyes open, vision is what you see with your eyes closed.

1. Vision is valuable.

Proverbs 29:18 KJV 1900
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;

but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.

Proverbs 29:18 M:BCL
18 If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

2. Vision needs a vessel.

Luke 18:8 NLT
8 I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

3. Vision needs to be visible.

Habakkuk 2:2 NLT
2 Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.

4. Vision needs to be vast.

Genesis 15:5 NLT
5 Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!”

What could happen when the vision is unbelievable even to you?
