THE GREAT COMMISSION

Matthew 28:18–20 NKJV
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Lifeway Study: In the year 2000 the median worship attendance in USA was 137. Today median worship attendance is USA is 65.
Henry Blackaby: One of the great deceptions many dying churches believe is that they don’t need to make any significant changes; they just need a pastor to help them continue doing what they have always done.

Main Idea: God gave our church a great commission to live out.

Key Question: How are you impacting the fulfillment of the Great Commission?

1. We have a commander. (v. 18)

2. We have a commission. (v. 19-20)

3. We have company. (v. 20)
