Incorporating God’s Standards into Your Life

Record all your typical weekly activities by using MY PRESENT SCHEDULE (attached).
Place a line through every activity that should not be continued. Use the following questions to determine what activities need to be eliminated:
Is this profitable (1 Corinthians 6:12, 10:32)?
Am I controlled by this in any way (1 Corinthians 6:12)?
Is this a stumbling block in my life (Matthew 5:29-30, 18:8-9)?
Could this lead another believer to stumble (Romans 14:13; 1 Corinthians 8:9-13)?
Does this edify (build up) others (Romans 14:19; 1 Corinthians 10:23-24)?
Does this glorify God (Matthew 5:16; 1 Corinthians 10:31)?
List on a separate sheet all activities and responsibilities that should be started. Refer back to the beginning of this handout under the heading “What You are TO DO.”
Develop a plan to live in a manner that please the Lord and record your new schedule on MY PROPOSED SCHEDULE (attached).
