Introduction

According to James, faith is supposed to produce something (James 2:17). In other words, faith is supposed to have some sort of performance. In actuality, it performs a duty. Tonight we are going to look at some of the things faith has accomplished in the people of God’s life.
Worship- Cain and Abel (Genesis 4:1-8; Hebrews 11:4)
Trust and Commitment- Abraham (Genesis 12:1-5; Hebrews 11:8-9)
Sacrifices- Abraham (Genesis 22:1-18; Hebrews 11:17-19(
Close walk with God- Enoch (Genesis 5:21-24; Hebrews 11:5-6)
Fearlessness- Jericho (Joshua 6; Hebrews 11:30); Rahab (Joshua 2:1-24; Hebrews 11:31)
Confidence- Two Blind Men (Matthew 9:27-34); Moses’ mother (Exodus 2:1-2; Hebrews 11:23)
Trust- Exodus (Exodus 14:15-31; Hebrews 11:27-29)
