HIDDEN WISDOM I Corinthians 2:6-9 Grace Church of Lockeford; 10/4/20 Introduction A problem developed in the Corinthian church blending man’s philosophy and the Wisdom of God. Greek philosophers gathered many students to debate the meaning of life. The Gospel is the Wisdom of God revealed to mankind. If we are in Christ, if we have a vital relationship with Him, we should have confidence that He has revealed His Word to us. What was once veiled and hidden, God has made known to us. Knowing where we will end up after this life is over, we should experience God’s Truth in order to live a happy, confident life. It’s like reading the last chapter of a book. We know how all things are going to end, we just need to realize we’ve already won through Christ. Understanding God’s plan through His Word, even just a little, should spur us on and encourage us to dig even deeper. Read your Bible (every day if possible). Plug yourself into a Bible study of some sort to grow closer to God. Remember, everlasting life is not just eternal, it’s actually a quality of life which we can experience right now.
