Scripture

Romans 8:28–32 (KJV 1900)
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Psalm 133 (KJV 1900)
A Song of degrees of David.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious ointment upon the head, That ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: That went down to the skirts of his garments;
As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: For there the Lord commanded the blessing, Even life for evermore.
Well gentlemen the time has come for us to go back into a environment (Nottoway) where the opportunity of sharing the Good News has been afforded to us. With all the different events that has affected not just us but those who are even in the confinements of a Correctional Center like Nottoway. I do know that each of us has a story that we can all present to each of us about how this has affected not only us but our family, work, community, our church alone with those men in Nottoway.
The Lord led me to these two passages of scripture for us this morning to quickly look at what we need to take with us in preparation for Kairos #43 in June.
I do believe that each of us are pretty familiar with both of these passage but I just wanted to take a few minutes to put them together for us today.
Psalm 133 is one of my favorite scripture that speaks of unity for us all. I do believe that for the team going into Nottoway in June will require unity for each of us. Since this is the first time for all of us in almost 3 years. I do believe that we will have to be flexible for the way we handles the four days. Right now, we do not know if we will still be in the gym, or another location within the facilities. We of course do not know who will be there from prior Kairos groups and of course this time we will be working without an active chaplain since Chaplain Bell has retired. This is just the start of our four day journey so unity going to be one way for us to be successful.
David says how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
When we stay in unity and focus to the task then the Holy Spirit will provide us the strength, stability, and support each of us will need to endure the work we will are assign to complete.
It is like the precious ointment upon the head, That ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: That went down to the skirts of his garments;
This oil (anointing) will be on each of us especially if we look for unity. It will take unity of all parts in order to get through the four day journey at Nottoway. Again, we have to expect some new standards, processes, and even new policies. So, let’s not get out of focus but stay ready to adjust where we need to make adjustment so everyone will feel encourage and the body will be edified.
This verse is something for all of us to remember here in Psalms 133.
For there the Lord commanded the blessing, Even life for evermore.
This ensure us that as long we be stay in unity the blessing of the Lord will be there for everyone and I mean everyone. Not just us but those men who are joining us in Karios #43.
Lastly, I wanted to briefly look at what Paul wrote in Romans 8 especially here in verse 28-32.
So how do we stay in Unity! Thanks for asking. We don’t just say it but we demonstrate in by showing them all the Love of God.
Paul says
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
With all that we of us has overcome and persevered to get to this point in life and with having the desire and anointing to team this time show that we have the ability of not only being successful but knowing that the Lord will bring deliverance to these men who live will never be the same after June 11, 2023. This is not something that I believe and know but this is what the Lord said here in this verse in Romans
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
When we release Kairos #43 to the Lord and totally surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit. Then no matter if you have a talk, meditation, counselor, or just show you present for these men will make a external lasting impact on their life. The seeds that will be planted will stay with them for the rest of their life not matter if they are up for release in 2, 4 years or never make it on the other side of Nottoway.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Gentlemen, as I close
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and with unity this will be a fleshing anointing filled Kairos #43. We will see the power of God, deliverance, salvation, rededication, and love express the entire weekend. From the first day all the way to the end.
I trust that we of you know that the anointing is lay upon us.
I am looking forward to working with each of us and stay ready to provide you any spiritual assistance if needed but I fully know that this entire team if fully qualified and determine to make a external impact in the life of those men who the Lord has predesignate, them he them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
I leave each of you with this passage of scripture
1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV 1900
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
