This week we return to the one whom came preaching a baptism of repentance and preparing the way for the Lord and discover what befell him after his arrest. What we find in the text is discipleship is tied together both in following and in suffering. Evil does exist, but evil can not stop everlasting life with God. Take heart with the One who has conquered the world.
