A death undeserved

In speaking with Michelle and other’s who knew Scott, the story of John the Baptist came to mind over and over. Not because Scott wore camel hair garments or ate locust like John the Baptist. But because both Scott and John were bold, dedicated, and unafraid.
Scott, like John the Baptist, was known for being bold and unafraid to go against the grain. Maj Watts described Scott as a man who marched to the beat of his own drum.
Scott was dedicated. I have heard of few people who were able to give up smoking cold turkey. Even fewer who have run ultra marathons. Scott did both.
