The Real Reason You Should Serve In VBS (Let The Children Come)

We just did a sermon about the importance of why we do something. So how important is it that we know the why for VBS, and how important it is for us serve in it.

So before we go over the lessons in the month of may, we will be answering this question.

Lets look at the words of Jesus....

Mark 10:13–16 ESV

13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 16 And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

We Need To Embrace Kids not Stands kids

for to long churches have loved children, invited childen but never embraced them.

To embrace kids we have to make them feel welcomed to be a kid and not expect them to act like adults.

Deuteronomy 6:4–9 ESV
