INTRODUCTION: The New Testament presents us with an abundant river of the living water of love. Ways to show our Love to our Father, being Obedient, being committed, it is better to be obedient and not sin than to not be obedient, sin then repent.

And Paul prays that “your love may abound more and more” Philippians 1:8–10 8 For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ. 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, “ Again, that they may “know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge”

So Jesus says here, Love me. He is not saying be good, keep my commands, act right and you will prosper, He is saying, be obedient and love me!

CONCLUSION: Only as one displays full-flowing love through obedience in one’s life can one be an effective Christian leader. In this light ponder deeply Jesus’ questions to Peter in John 21:15–22.

I about fell over........TELL THIS STORY, COMPASSION, BAKING, CARD MINISTRY, WRITING POEMS FOR HER LOVED ONES, STOPPING IN THE CVS TO PRAY WITH SOMEONE. I EXPLAINED THAT HER HUMILITY, DEEP LOVE OF JESUS NEVER ALLOWED HER TO BECOME PROUD OR BOASTFUL. HER INTERCESSORY PRAYERS TO GOD ALLOWED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO LEAD HER TO DO HER GOD GIVEN GIFT OF LOVING, HELPING, DEEP PRAY FULL PRAYERS IF INTERSESSION. WOW
