Parable of the Mustard Seed

Groining well. Image of the kingdom of heaven.

Great picture. mustard seed is the least of all seeds; but when it is grown it is greater that anything in the garden.

II. Body of the Message:

Kingdoms. Dominions.

When we look unto the Arabian Peninsula we see different kingdoms.

We see how God has blessed those countries by giving them wealthy.

They have invested into wellfare.

They want to invest into their future - they think their children by providing the education.

God is important to them. Religion is near to their heart. It is part of their everyday life. They pray regularly.

People are good people.

There is something foolishness in our message.

We preach Christ crucified.

Christ is stumbling block to people (1Cor 1:23).

We have testimony of God.

It is demonstration of the Spirit and of power.

Kingdom of the Heaven is described as a tree.

There are other kingdoms as well and they are also pictures as an tree in the Bible.

A dream. Nebuchadnezzar. King of Babylon.

Dan 4.10 Nebuchadnezzar saw great cedar trees fall in Lebanon.

Babylon

Eze 31.2-3 Assyria was a cedar tree in Lebanon

These trees provided food for the birds and gave shelter for all the animals

But it was cut down.

King Nebu’s own could not interpret his dream.

It was horrifying. He understood that.

All the riches he had did not help him.

Daniel was able.

Dan 4.34 After the time… Nebuchadnezzar lifted up eyes unto heaven.

Understanding returned.
