LESSON 7 May 6–12
Memory Text:
“ ‘You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created’ ” (Revelation 4:11).
Why is there something instead of nothing?
According to the latest scientific theory (they tend to change), our universe once did not exist.
In other words, it’s a miracle that we are here.
Despite all sorts of myths about the universe arising from absolutely nothing, our universe exists because God has made it and everything in it.
MONDAY May 8
Worship the Creator
Read Revelation 14:7.
What does the message of the first angel conclude?
What final appeal does this judgment-hour message make?
(See also Isa. 40:26, John 1:1–3, and Rom. 1:20.)
Revelation 14:7 ends with a call to worship the Creator; this call is especially important now, when most of the scientific and even the Christian world have accepted evolution, a teaching that strikes at the very heart of all things biblical and Christian.
If evolution is true, our faith is a lie.
Revelation’s final appeal, then, is rooted in the Bible’s first book, Genesis. We will never fully understand the issues in this cosmic battle over worship unless we understand the significance of Creation. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen. 1:1, NKJV). This verse is the foundation for all of Scripture. “In the beginning God created.” The Hebrew word for “create” in this passage is bara, a verb that is used only and exclusively with God Himself as the subject.
To get just a small idea of how unlimited God’s power is, let’s consider just one object of His creation—the sun.
The sun produces more energy in one second than humanity has produced by oil, gas, coal, or fire since the beginning of time.
The sun could hold one million planets the size of earth. But the sun is just one of at least 100 billion stars in our galaxy, the Milky Way. One star called the Pistol Star gives off as much as ten million times the power generated by our sun. One million stars the size of our sun can easily fit within the sphere of the Pistol Star. How do we even begin to wrap our minds around the creation?
Creation reveals a God of awesome might and unlimited power
Even if men don’t know the Bible they can find proof of His power wisdom and love in His creation, cosmos, nature and human body.
For this reason Paul wrote in Romans ...
The universe and our physiology proves He really exists, He is not only almighty but He cares and will never forsake His people in this world.

Cosmos
Despite how small we are in contrast to the creation, Christ died for us.
How does the overwhelming size of the creation only amplify the reality of God’s love?
TUESDAY May 9
A God Who Is Close
The God of Creation, who brought the sun, moon, and stars into existence, whose awesome power created this planet and filled it with living things, also is a God who is interested in each one of us. He is the God who delivered His people from Egyptian bondage, who guided them in their wilderness wanderings, who rained manna out of heaven, who caused the walls of Jericho to collapse, and who defeated Israel’s enemies. The same God who unleashed His infinite power to create the universe unleashes that infinite power to defeat the forces of evil that wage the battles for our souls.
Read 2 Corinthians 5:17, Psalm 139:15–18, Acts 17:27, and Colossians 1:17.
What do these verses teach us about the closeness of God?
Deists believe in a higher power that was involved in the creation but left us alone ...
But from the word of God and own experience we know that it is not true.

Bible
The great news about our God is that He cares, loves, and has pity on us lost and corrupt sinners. His power is so wonderful that He can and promises to recreate us and transform us into the likeness of His image.
However there are certain conditions we must fulfil to be transformed by Him:
Romans 1:16–17
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes... For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'”
Apart from faith to allow God to recreate us apart from accepting the gift of Christs life and death we are to surrender everything to God in prayer every day claim His promises of having Christ in us
John 15:1–5
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
So God is not only an almighty Creator but He is also love and He wants to dwell in us and talk with us daily through His Spirit.
Rom 5:5 ...
WEDNESDAY May 10
Gospel, Judgement, Creation
Look at the first angel’s message. Everlasting gospel. Hour of judgment. Worship the Creator. Look at how closely related these ideas are.
When we stand now before our Creator in the investigative judgment, it’s only through accepting the gospel through faith that we can pass the test and be regarded righteous.
Rom. 8:1
How can we be free from condemnation in the judgement?
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, (who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit).”
No condemnation now—and certainly not in the judgment.
Why there is no condemnation in the judgement?
The word “therefore” tells us that the freedom from condemnation is the result of the historic fact that was described in the previous chapters 6 and 7:
Romans 6:6–7
“Knowing this, that our old man [self] was crucified with Him [Greek aorist tense], that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
For he who has died has been freed from sin.
Now if we died with Christ [Greek aorist tense], we believe that we shall also live with Him”.
Romans 7:4–6
4. Therefore, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.
6. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.
Delivered from the condemnation of the law not from keeping the law.
We are born under the law under its condemnation and fear. And the law sets us free only when we accept our death in Christ for our sins. Then the justice of the law is satisfied because we were punished in Christ. So the law lead us to Christ who sets us free and then He lead us back to the same holy law as free from condemnation give us HS and dwells in us enabling us to keep the law out of law and not out of fear.
And then in the context of our death to the law in Christ and freedom from condemnation he says in
Rom. 8:1
“There is therefore [because of our death to the law with Christ] now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus
(who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit).”
No condemnation now—and certainly not in the judgment.
Why there is no condemnation in the judgement?
Because we were in Christ when He lived and died
Corinthians 1:30
“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption”.
John 15:1-5
I there anything we can do to preserve this freedom in Christ?
John 15:1–5
“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
Abide [remain] in Me, and I in you.
He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Colossians 1:16–17
What do these texts teach about Jesus as Creator and Redeemer?
Colossians 1:16–17
“All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
How do you understand this?
In Christ all things hold together spiritually and even physically.
SPIRITUALLY as a Redeemer because by demonstrate Gods love on the cross Christ forever united the entire universe including us believers to never doubt in Gods love and justice.
PHYSICALLY as a Creator He holds all things together through
GLUONS that hold 3 quarks together...
Romans 5:18
What do this text teaches about Jesus as Creator and Redeemer?
“Therefore, as through one man’s offence judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.”
What do this text teaches about Jesus as Creator and Redeemer?
...
Is the three angels message also referring to Gods creation and redemption in Christ
Revelation 14:6–7
6. Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—
7. saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.
What 3 key elements are included in this first angel message?
GOSPEL
INVESTIGATIVE JUDGEMENT
SABBATH
There is a clear and literal announcement about the gospel and judgement here but where is the cal to keep the Sabbath found i this message?
QUOTE
“Look at how closely tied Jesus as Creator is to Jesus as Redeemer.
The moment that His role as Creator is diminished, as the theory of evolution inevitably does, His role as our Redeemer comes into question, as well.”
Why evolution theory is very crafty and inspired by Satan?
It is so because:
1. It attacks the Sabbath
Why and how?
If the cosmos appeared as a result of explosion and the life extremely slowly evolved throughout millions of years, it denies what?
It denies the biblical truth according to which God created this world and life in literal 6 days and that He rested on the seventh day making it holy and a memorial of creation.
2. It gives an idea that this world is naturally evil from the beginning as if God created it this way and left us like that.
In this way evolution denies the fact that Adam was first made holy and then he sinned. How could the first man sin if he was never holy or perfect but evolved.
Since there was no sin there is no need for Redeemer and cross.
So, evolution denies God’s miracle of creation in just 6 years
It denies Sabbath as the memorial of creation
It denies the truth about sin and gospel
In this way it also attacks the Sabbath as a memorial and seal of justification by faith
Evolution is not a scientific theory.
It is a form of a religion.
Why?
Because it requires a tremendous amount of faith
...
Rom 1:19-20
Why so many people included educated scientists believe in it?
1. Majority of people are just brainwashed by constant repeating the same lie.
2. Others especially the so called scientists by rejecting God and His truth allowed the enemy of truth to control their minds and use them to oppose the the truth about the creation, sabbath and salvation through evolution.
3. Egocentric and proud by nature sinful man wants to live an independent from God life. Therefore naturally he has tendency to find an excuse of rejecting God.
Rom 1:19-20
19: What may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
20: For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
Why especially today evolutionists are without excuse?
There are so many proves that the Bible is right about the very young age of the earth

THURSDAY May 11
The Creator on the Cross
However much we can and do marvel and worship the Lord as our Creator, there’s more to it. As we have already seen but worth looking at again is the idea that our Creator also is our Redeemer. The God who created us is the same God who redeemed us.
The God who said, “ ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness’ ” (Gen. 1:26, NKJV), is the same One who, on the cross, cried out, “ ‘Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?’ ” that is, “ ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’ ” (Matt. 27:46, NKJV).
Talk about the reason to fear God or, even more so, to give glory to Him and to worship Him, as well!
How can we, as fallen human beings, adequately respond to such an amazing truth as this? What could we possibly do in response? We are told, in the first angel’s message, what to do: “ ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water’ ” (Rev. 14:7, NKJV).
Read John 19:16–30, John’s account of Jesus on the cross. As you read it, think of the Bible texts that we have looked at about Jesus as Creator, as the One by whom “all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (Col. 1:16, NKJV). How are we to respond to this amazing expression of God’s love?
The first angel’s message to worship the Creator came after the Cross, after it had become known to the onlooking universe and to Christ’s followers that the One who “made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water” is the same One who, though being God, took “the form of a bondservant, and [came] in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross” (Phil. 2:7, 8, NKJV).
What an amazing spectacle that must have been to those who knew Jesus before He came to earth as a human being. No wonder heavenly beings worship Him, as well. As for us, redeemed by His blood, what else could we do but worship our Creator and our Redeemer?
Why is the idea, in light of the Cross, of fallen human beings being able to add anything to what Christ did on the cross such a heretical idea? Which of our works could add to what the Creator already has done for us?
