1 Thes 4:9 “9 Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;”
1 Peter 1:22 “22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart,”
“Entertained Angles unawares”
In certain biblical cases, there were some who entertained angels without being aware of their identity
Abraham Gen 18.
Lot Gen 19.
We have no reason to believe angels travel around in human form TODAY.. but in the miraculous age of the 1st Century it could be possible
“Hospitality”
Mat 10:42 “42 “And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.””
Hebrews 6:10 “10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.”
Gal 6:9-10 “9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. 10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.”
“Marriage”
1 Cor 6:9-11 “9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”
“Money”
1 Tim 6:6-10 “6 But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. 7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. 8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
Mat 6:19-20 “19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;”
Mat 6:24 “24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
