God Promises Supernatural _____________ That Will Prepare Us 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. Meaning of “mystery” – Once hidden, now revealed a. Two Paths – One Ending: 1. Everyone will not _______________ 2. Everyone will be _______________ (cf. Phil 3:20-21) 20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. b. WHEN the dead are raised and the living are changed THEN Hos 13:14 "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! Pity is hidden from My eyes." a) Death is _______________ in victory b) Death loses its excruciating _______________ c) Death loses its expected _______________ d) The lost sting of death is _______________ (paid for!) e) The lost power of sin is the _______________ (lived!) 4.
