Paul was called by God not man. His sole focus and call was to and from God.

Honest Commitment
Paul was committed to God not man. He was fearlessly committed to the things of God. Those around him did not alter or shake his commitment to live out obedience to God.
Galatians 2:1-10.
Honest Conviction
Paul was convicted by God and not man. He did not allow the influence of his audience alter what eh was preaching. He preached Christ and Christ alone. There was no room for shaky convictions which is why he called out Peter.
Galatians 2:11-14.
Application
God places us in circumstances and situations to live out our salvation. Will we be influenced and change the things God has convicted us of or will we influence those around us and stay true to the call, commitment, and convictions of God.
