What Jesus Said part 2

Let us go to the Lord in prayer. Lord. Thank you for your word. Let us understand it and know how important it is for us to do what you told us to do, and how important it is for us as creatures to preach and let our congregation in people that we talk to know.

Everything that we have to do. You get to heaven, just like Jesus said, the path is narrow.

But this word as I read it today, that's our hearts in Jesus name, I pray, amen.

So, the last sermon I went through the letters to the churches.

so today, We're going to talk about recognizing sin.

I want to go ahead and start with. The part out of Matthew of what I started with the last time. The true way into the kingdom. Matthew verses 21 through 27. Not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven. But he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord Lord have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name and done many wonders in your name. And then I will declare to them. I never knew you depart from me. You who practice lawlessness.

the parable of the two builders Luke 647 through 49 is where it's reference that this is Matthew 24 through 27, therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and dust them, I will liken him unto a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain descended, the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, in the rain, to send it in the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall.

so again Jesus is telling us if we don't do everything that he did tell us to do

We're not going to make it. He loves us and that's why he told us everything that we need to do.

so, when Jesus was asked about, Adultery. Isn't he kind of tells us how to recognize sin?

You have heard that it was said this is out of Matthew, 5:27, 30 you have heard said it was said of those of old, you shall not commit adultery. But I say to you, whoever looks at a woman to Lust For Her has committed adultery with her in his heart. if your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. For it is more profitable for you. That one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you or is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Well, that's kind of hard to think about doing plucking. Your own I ever cut your own hand off, but if you think about it, the way, the Paul describes, each person in each congregation as a member of the body of Christ in each person in that body, is it a member of the body? And he talks in the letter about all the bad things going on. In the churches. Right here to versus in a row, he told us, cast them out or it's better for them to perish in hell. Then for the entire body of the congregation to Jezebel needs to be kicked out of the churches. Lgbtq that they don't need to be in the churches if they want to call themselves a Christian, they need to repent and follow Jesus. Did these things are going on in our church has regularly today, I know a year or two ago, a Methodist Church in Austin, Texas little part because of the lgbtq in half of them as lgbtq and the other half, went the other direction then said no they said they did what Jesus told them to do.

and, That's just where we're at and I'm going to continue on again on another sermon. I know this has been a real short sermon. But it's got a lot to take in. Jesus is telling us, we need to repent. We need to get rid of the evil out of our churches. He's going to shut the door in our faces. If we don't, he's he says it. It's the words and read it frustrates, me seeing it all go on because I want all my brothers and sisters in Christ to be in heaven with me. And if I don't explain this to it to everybody that they can hear it, then they want and it scares me. It scares me because I need to get myself, right. We all need to get ourselves right because the time is coming soon. It will get it to that as the time goes along cuz Jesus tells us everything that will be going on at the end of the age and in people want to say, oh well that already happened will it hasn't already happened because the End of the Age isn't here yet. We're still here at the end of the 8in. You know, the floods and the storms are all happening. More regularly Christians, being beheaded. Going on for a long time, in the Middle East, there's all kinds of stuff going on it, and it is getting more and more severe. We should be petrified. Do you know the fear of the Lord is a healthy thing? Because without the fear of the Lord, we would not stay straight in line. It ain't in that path is narrow is easy to Veer off. Then there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and the prophets and the kingdom of God and yourselves Thrust out. They will come from the East and from the west of the North and the South is sit down in the kingdom of God and indeed there are last will be first. And there are first, who will be less?
