Does the church still matter? It seems like just about every statistic is pointing to the fact that the church is declining, and maybe that means it's just not relevant anymore. But in 1 Peter 2, we see that there's always reason for hope in the church. Peter reminds us of who we are as the Church: we're a community built on a cornerstone that's called to carry out God's purpose.
