I will always have hope. I will praise you more and more, my mouth will tell you of your righteous Deeds of your saving axe. All day long though. I know not how to relate them at all. I will come and Proclaim your Mighty acts Sovereign Lord, I will Proclaim Your Righteous Deeds yours alone. Okay, what is happening in your life? Remember if God has a plan for your life, he has episodes. He brings into your life, to plan. The pathway that you are to take. You don't understand that you don't know the way but he does. And the big question is are you trusting each of those events that he brings into your life? Even though you're going through, hardships and struggles, it is the very hardships and struggles that God brings into your life that allow you to talk about his merciful grace to you, as you go through them. It's your opportunity to Proclaim his name. And that's what he calls his to, you know, Joshua. He was chosen as the leader of the Israelites, you know, he was 80 plus years old when he was chosen as the leader. Imagine that, you know, going 80 years and finally, okay, you're the boss and you knowing he was evidently a little bit shaky because God can send you away in several episodes comes to him and says, hey, I'm going to be with you, don't worry about it. And, and

And Joshua 1:9 he says this once again to him, God comes to him and he says, have I not commanded, you be strong and courageous ynobe of Courage. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged for the Lord. Your God will be with you wherever you go.

Now, there are several episodes from the life of Joshua that we can find. When he kept his eyes on the Lord. When he was looking to God, he saw miraculous things happen. He saw the walls of Jericho fall down. He saw the sun stand still in the sky for hours in the same place. Imagine those things. But when he took his eyes off of God, he was defeated by a little city, like a AI. And he was led astray by a group of people called the gibeonites.

It's keeping our eyes on God. Through all the experiences, not just some of the experiences that God wants us to do. Now, I know we all falter and fail but we can look at Joshua's being a hero even though he's struggled. So have you struggled some in your life certainly have because I have to

But God is there for us. He is our guide Psalm, 25 12 who then are those who fear the lord, he will instruct them in the ways they should. Choose. You see, if we keep our eyes on God, and our focus on God, even through the struggles, that we're going through those episodes, become our story of God's merciful Grace, but we have to look to him to be our guide through those moments, not to turn away from him and run the other way as often were inclined to do when we're running through difficult, is the restorer of Our Lives. Even when we falter like Joshua, faltered He restored him. Psalm 139, 23 and four says search me o. God and know. My heart test. Me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there's any offensive way in me and Lead Me in the way Everlasting.

So, whether we are looking to him or whether a faltering, God wants to do a work in our hearts and our lives. So remember, if we struggle, go to the Lord and say, forgive me for this struggle, help me to be stronger and he restores us, if we're keeping our eyes on him, look for those fantastic things that God is going to do in your life, just shake your head and say that was impossible. But here I am, here I am. He brings goodness to the lives of those believe of those who follow him, you remember the Romans 8:28, you know, for those who keep their eyes on him, he brings goodness. Remember the Israelites were the Jewish people from the tribe of Judah. Had betrayed got him and carried off into captivity to the land of Babylon and Jeremiah laments. What's going on? But in the middle of his lament in the middle chapter of that lament, he says these words Lamentations 3:25 and 6. The Lord is good to those who hope in him.

even when you're being carried off into captivity is good, if you're hoping in them, To the one who seeks him. It is good to wait, quietly. For the Salvation of the Lord. You see. As you're going through those struggles. Wait for him. Wait for him. Keep your eyes on him because he will deliver, he will bring you through one way or another you'll bring you through. Thank you all the way. So, I'm 71 17 and 18, says, since my youth God, you have taught me. Do you think that since your youth has? He been teaching you? Whether you came to know the Lord, when you were older, or when you were younger, you know, you're a newborn your youthful even though you might be 50 years old. Okay, you have taught me. God, you have taught me and to this day I declare your marvellous Deeds. Even when I'm old and gray, do not forsake, me my god Till I declare your power to the Next Generation, your Mighty acts, do all, who are the come in, okay, I've gotten a little gray hair over the years. Well, I guess that's a good thing in some ways because I have a lot of things I can look back on and say wow God really moved here. Are there these other ways? You know. So don't worry about getting old and gray because remember those are experiences. You can look back on and say wow I've been changed. It gives you an opportunity to relate to those who are coming along behind you. To help them understand that God has done a mighty work. And let me tell you about it. Are our kids or grandkids are great? Grandkids need to hear that. Isaiah 46:4 says even to your old age and gray hairs. I am he, I am, he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you. I will sustain you and will rescue you Okay. but I got to keep my eyes on him, if my focus becomes the focus of the world and all the events that are going on around me,

I gained nothing. It's only as I keep my eyes on the Lord that I gained anything and then can give it over to those who come after me, God allows this into our lives. He gives us those difficulties and struggles, so that we can express his mighty work that happened in our lives. He tells the people of Israel, this in Deuteronomy 6:7 says impress them on your children, talk about them. When you sit at home and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you get up, in other words, it needs to be a part of your life.

Are you making got a part of each aspect of your life? Is he involved in all those activities? If not start rethinking your mind, get your mind, right? Yeah, this is a part. The life God has given me and I need to be able to operate it into his power and his strength and trust him through it, trust him in all of it so that I can help my children. My grandchildren, my great-grandchildren know the pathway of truth that God is there, no matter what happens in my life, claimant last bird. Last verse to give Psalms 78:4, we will not hide them from their descendants. We will tell the Next Generation, the praiseworthy Deeds of the Lord, his power and the Wonders he has done. So take the time to look back on your life. Look back and see how God has brought you here. You're sitting here because God has allowed you to be here.

Proclaim his name. Tell others.

Use all that God has given you to express his merciful Grace because you don't want those who come after you to not know the truth. You want them to know the truth, right? And so be able to tell them about that. Look back on your life. Say oh well God really moved here. I can see that. Now that I look back.

And I can use that to help others know God, your life is a story that God has given you so that you can Proclaim his name. Spray. Father in heaven. We thank you that you are a God who has a plan for our lives and you carry it out. Help us to be aware of that. So that we can take that plan that you've given to us. And show others. They come after us. That you're a mighty God and you love and care for those who trust in you bless us in this oh Lord Our God in Jesus name. Amen.

We're just going to sing the chorus this last song.

There are goodies in the back.

He's God from.
