I should work for us.

go to work for me and you, so,

Okay. Here we are so well we are. Speaking of the hymn singing, let's see the opener for a hose to that.

Literally father, we thank you for this opportunity in the short few minutes. We have to do our study in the Passover supper event, in the upper room and pray that you give us insight and wisdom. As we begin to dip our toes into the hotel and what you have made of available to us here. Cause us to reflect your thinking and our understanding. And as we spoke earlier that, we might have further review of your Doctrine, your word that your grace might be shown and exemplify for all of eternity. This we pray in, Christ's name.

All right, so the whole LOL it's cold. The hymn singing.

The hymn singing the singing of the hymns or the Psalms, the Whole Lotta Love the Holo is the praise the Praises. The song does the book of praises and we have our term Hallelujah which is a praise going to come from that same rut the whole oil comes from. And so we have a number of

The number of songs that have been packaged together how exactly they were packaged together. We haven't been told just like we haven't been told how the writer of The Book of Proverbs or the Assemblies of Proverbs in that book how they were put together. How did they finally come to their final disposition? Where we have a few problems from here? A few problems from their most of them from Solomon but a few from other sources on. How did that happen? Same thing in the Book of Ecclesiastes we have all these points of knowledge points of reference points of wisdom points of soap bubbles on planet Earth. Why was it assembled the way that it was? We aren't exactly told, we just have to trust that it all comes together in that form with the songs. We have divisions. We know, there are certain types of Psalms for those which we called The Vedic, Psalms we are both. Signs of nomenclature that you probably never heard the deals with the different types of songs and what they are and what their purpose is. So we have, you know, we have a Messianic Psalms and we have a songs about Israel and other things like that. The whole well, songs, or a number of songs that were brought together. Let's take a look at Matthew 26, verse 30, We mentioned this previously this. Matthew 26 verse 30 says, and when they had sung a hymn they went out to the Mount of Olives. Well, this is actually our reference to the hilal, so this is part of what is going on in the worship on the sock on the Passover. We also Mark 14 verse 26 and they went out to the Mount of Olives sounds like basically the same thing. So we have the same account here, they're both making reference to the fact that it was song and whatever was this him that they saying it was what was sung every say to her after the meal? That is Psalms 1:15 through 118. Now at the beginning of the passage At the beginning of the Passover meal and celebration. They sing Psalms 113 through 114. The first part of the Halal at the end of the ceremonies, they sing the final four. Psalms Psalm 114 through 118. So they split up. They sing the first two at the beginning and then the last score at the end, couple years ago I Tried reading through all of it at the end of a service and it was a long read and tortuous and I read fast and probably no one got much of anything about it. We did it.

Soga, hello, or a collection of songs sung at the great festivals of Israel. So they're selling it pass over at Pentecost and Tabernacle as well as on other holy days. Begun Passover. Pentecost. Tabernacles and other holy days will Give you more detail in a bit Alfred edersheim, the Great Jewish scholar. Magnificent story of Alfred, edersheim is known as probably. He's probably the greatest Jewish scholar until Arnold fruchtenbaum, came along and took everything that was done by Alfred and put it back into its proper biblical Israel logical and dispensational context but you'll find an awful. Lot of what Arnold says actually come straight out of what what Alfred said. So I wonder read this quote to you The singing of the Halal at the Passover dates, from very remote Antiquity. The talmud dwells on its peculiar suitable Miss for the purpose since it is. Not only recorded the goodness of God towards Israel, but especially their deliverance from. Egypt, from there, for appropriately, opened with praise, you Jehovah. He was using Jehovah back in that time. Praise you Jehovah, you Servants of Jehovah and no longer of thorough. Meaning, what he saying here is, they are no longer Servants of pharaoh. They are now at Servants of Jehovah or the common to distinguish it from the great, Hopewell song on very rare occasions was comprised Psalms 122 136 So right after this, we have a series from 1:20 to 1:36 called the Great. Hello. Which has to do with the glorification of God, this smaller who well, is actually called the Egyptian. Meaning Israel is delivered out of Egypt, so it is about that Egyptian or Passover. Deliverance.

He continues on.

Well, I gathered a few things from his notes so I won't belabor that the purpose of the Halal according to the talmud is to record five things. They'll remember the talmud is the writings that came in for the rabbis and Priests after the Exile even in the Exile, it's there. Extra biblical writings to start to tell each other how to keep the law, how to do the things of the law, what the rabbis inherited, and what Jesus was faced with, when he was there in the land, it was all this teaching all of us talmudic teaching having to do with how to interpret scripture. But according to the talmud, they had five things were being recorded the coming out of Egypt.

What is the coming out of the coming of Egypt? Out of the land, the dividing of the sea.

but giving of the law,

The resurrection of the Dead.

And the lot of the Messiah. The lot of the Maasai or that is what happened with the Messiah.

Don't want to pause for a second. And point out that there are some parallels here cuz I expressed in our first session there are parallels between what happens I in Egypt, releasing or Israel being formed taken out of

Egypt they walked out fully formed a nation. Let out by God. Where was the dividing of the sea? Which was the Conquering the destruction of all their enemies who was the giving of the law, which was the next step in becoming a holy nation dedicated to Israel or dedicated to go out a holy nation. They consecrated or separated Nation prepared for God's purposes and to make that possible God starts or continues with the revelation of scripture, only through the people of Israel. Only through Moses setting up the pain as we have the Book of Job. And then we have that moving and marshalling Through The Narrative of History. Then we had the cumulation of the Psalms and Proverbs the writings of David and Solomon. And then we have the prophets the Lesser in the greater profits and all of that is put together. You could divide it. Free exotic prophesied as those who were in the land before. It was carved up and cut up. And those who prophesied after the land was Tarzan. Cut up. So we have all that going on. The mat is the revelation of scripture and then we have the resurrection of the dead, but it is we have dead resurrected that are spoken of. And there's multiple points to look at. We have the, the sons of the mothers who are resurrected and that is a picture for us. It is a porch Rail and is also a rebuking of the, of the culture surrounding them that said that their gods had power over life and death. And yet it turns out only Yahweh has power over life and death. And so we have Resurrection to show that he alone has that power and we see that scene in Jen when Elijah is in, the grave is bones, are their Riders are coming along and they are the people burying a gentleman or frightened because they seem rodders and they pause the role or bump the guy and he falls into the grave on top of the bones of Elijah and Springs to life. Show me to get in the salvation and life comes from God, from your way alone. And then we have the great picture and Jonah of his death and his resurrection, which is the very thing that Jesus Christ himself points to and says that, there is a resurrection moment when you see it, that is a sign that I am. Who I said that I was, that will be the sign after I've given you the signs before. After it, you'll get another sign and that will be it. And then we have the lot of the Messiah. So there are references. According to the Jewish, Romo is there are references about what is going to happen with the Messiah and that's in these. Hello these six, Psalms that we are talking about here. No, I want you to recognize that we have something in parallel here. Remember first Advent, second Advent. Israel came out of Egypt. We're going to see Israel delivered from the entire world. The dividing of the sea that is the absolute destruction of the enemy. The captor of

Israel in Egypt, interesting Lee Pharaoh's Army is destroyed but Pharaoh himself is escapes to currently ride and play another day. Does it say in the text, the Pharaoh died. So the Pharaoh's Army died there and we're going to see the same thing. We're going to see the destruction of all of those opposed to

Supposed to Israel and we're going to be involved in that fight and There Will Be Blood and there will be War, but also at the same time, noticed that all of the Angelic beings are going to be capture, all those who you might call them, the army of Satan, just like the army of pharaoh, they will be taken away capture, and he will be redeployed, they'll all be tossed in the pit and held off for a thousand years. So we have the dividing of the sea than we have the giving of the locked interesting than the giving of the law. I was written on tablets written on Hard Rock and people had to learn from that hard. Rock in inculcate, the matter into the ruin mine. If there are an unbeliever than they got to learn the

we got to learn the

Come to think of the term. We were speaking about earlier today, the

God's truth for all of humanity.

Sorry, it's from his Escape me as opposed to spiritual truth, but those who had spiritual eyes to see your who were Believers were able to take into a Grace apparatus for him to receive and understand God's teaching. And they were born again or regenerates as it were. Because Jesus said, you can see the spirit moving and you must be born from above us in Porton. So, there were those who were unbelievers, who could see God's plan on those who are believers, who could see it when it comes to the Millennium, there is no need to write it on tablets of stone. And in fact, we are told in comparison and is he killing other spots as he killed 34? Zico 37 with that stone is the hearts of mankind or the hearts, specifically of Israel that they will not heed. The things of God, they're not alive to him. So because they have hearts of stone. He is told that in the New Covenant, in the Messianic Kingdom, they will not have hearts of stone, but they will have hearts of. They will be responsive to the teaching of the word of God. Every juice, every Jew, born will respond to buy. Free will hear the word of God, and they will no longer say to each other here. Ye the word of the Lord, because it is written in their heart. They will know. So, that is a distinction between the Mosaic perspective, versus the second Advent perspective and we have the resurrection of the dead. So there will be that resurrection of the Dead, the first fruits of the second fruits will get into that in the next couple of weeks. And that is part of what is happening. There are those resurrected from the dead were serving in the Messianic came to him. No man we have The war of the Messiah. Now, there's what the rabbi saw in perceived and then there's what we can actually see, and perceive as we study scripture. Comparing it to scripture with a little bit of insight with no little bit more than those rabbis new who are unbelieving. But there are some good notes that they had those who were believing as well.

No, the Egyptian hallel was song on 18 days and one evening. So 18 daytime singings of it from a man evening singing of it. The 18 days were at the Passover sacrifice.

Well, give these to you the Passover sacrifice. When the Passover Lambs were sacrificed in the temple, in the daytime, the Feast of Pentecost,

Is another point, which the whole El is being sane and each of the eight days of the Feast of Tabernacles, when they are all performing, The Feast of Tabernacles and finally, the dedication of the temple. Now, all of these are attending fees that is the people who are within range are obligated to come in those who can come from a further distance are enjoying to come. So, this is what we have, great assemblies, these 5ft. So, the times when we have a new people into Jerusalem for the feast, and you have the hotel's going on, so the hotels are being sung outside throughout Jerusalem in the gates going into the city. Remember what they were singing when Jesus came through?

You want remember the words spoken basically? They're saying hallelujah to the king. Hallelujah. They're making a reference to their massage coming in and it's one. Is there actually what they're doing is they're engaging in the whole Elves and the first portion of the hotels and then we have that resigning throughout Jerusalem and up in a temple in each of the Courts of the temple. We have a Wells being seeing and as the sacrifices are being carried out. We have hotels being performed by the Levites by the priests that were there. So notice that the dedication of the temple or Hanukkah, which we studied back on Hanukkah on December 18th of last year is one of those in which we have the whole house being sung. The evening recitation. So they're 18 days and then one evening and that evening is during the Pascal supper which is what we're studying. It's the Pascal supper or the stator. Again, going to read you something from a doctor either shine.

He says. Well, the Savior still supposed to be to slide, so I apologize for the small size. Luther.

When do that thing again.

Nearest.

Well, the Savior still tarried with the other disciples outside the city, Peter and John were completing their preparations. They followed the motley crowd all weed in their sacrificial, Lambs Up the Temple Mount. And here, they were grouped into three divisions. Already the evening sacrifice have been offered, but before the incense was burned, the lamps were trim, the Pascal sacrifice had to be offered, it was done this way. The first of the three festive divisions with their Pasco Lambs were admitted within the court of the freeze. Each division must consist of not less than thirty persons 3 x, 10 the symbolic number of the Divine and of completeness immediately, the massive Gates were closed behind them in the priest, drew a three-fold blast, from their silver trumpet. When the Passover was slain, All together. The scene was most impressive all along the court up to the altar of burnt offering priesthood into Rose. The one holding golden, the other silver balls and leaves, the blood of the Pascal lands, which each Israelites Lou for himself as representative of his company. At the Pascal supper, was brought up by a priest who handed it to his colleague, receiving back, an empty bowl. And so, the bulls with the blood to the priest at the altar, Food Jerk Pit in one jet at the base of the altar. So basically one motion, swapping out, all the fluid at the bottom of the altar. While this was going on, a most sold him. The praise was raised the Levites singing and song from the offer is either repeating after them or merely responding. Every first line of a song was repeated by the people while to each of the other they responded by a hallelujah or a praise, ye the Lord, this service a song consisted of the so-called how low Which comprises Psalms 113 through 118. So this is what is going on in the temple and preparation, all the people trying to have their say their dinners there or going to have the lamb throat cut and the blood is caught and then it's offered in the temple. And then then there's the cleaning up and preparation of the Lambs and so forth.

This massive operation going on while the whole L. These hymns of Praise or being sung in the temple. We have the people take the land to their supper and may seem the same. Hello, all the same songs. The first two at the beginning in the last three at the end of the supper. Let's see, let's do do so want to start with Psalm 113? We're just going to read it and then we'll end there and we'll come back with study a little bit of exegesis and Exposition of Psalm 113 next week. So let me

Stupid. Well.

K. Psalm 113. Praise the Lord. Praise on Servants of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord. Words to blessed. Be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore verse 3 from the rising of the sun, to It's Goin Down on the lord's name is to be praised for his for the Lord is high above all nations. His glory above the heavens, there's five, who is like the Lord. Our God who dwells on high 46, humbles himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and in the Earth. First 7, he raises the poor Out of the Dust and he lifts the needy out of the ash Heap.

Receipt that he made seed him with princesses with the princes of his people. First nine, he grants the barren woman, a home, like a joyful mother of children, praise the Lord. That's the first one. In this says, we looked at it, we're going to see is a precedent to the appearing in the first Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. Do we have references here that are going back to the song of Hannah? You'll see that it's picked up as well by both Mary and Elizabeth, so they are well acquainted with the loyal and they have Bible Doctrine in their soul that came from the hello. And from the, from the song of Hannah, and many scholars with good reason. Think that part of this Doctrine was taken straight from the song of Hannah I was able to prophetically speak forward a deep understanding of the provision of the Lord to those, even the bear and even those in Ash and dust who are raised up and that, that would be the source of God's provision of the seat or the land that takes away the sins of the whole world. So we're going to find it, that's all connected together. We'll look at some of that in Psalm 113. There's also some very exciting stuff going on the Hebrew, but I don't know how much is at all, even mention or are get to, but I'm excited about it. So,

Closing prayer. Literally father, we just thank you for this time. Again to you study your word, let us immerse ourselves a little bit more have deeper knowledge, has a greater revelation of your doctrine, that you might be exalted. In all of eternity. It is our desire to see you exalted. Therefore, we are committed to being a teacher, in church, a place where we teach your word where the right understanding the sought-after nor do, we understand the methodologies, we have arrived at our, the methodologies used by a Jesus and do the apostles. This person, Paul, this person, Peter Lord, we recognize that there is a distinct in a right way to interpret your word. And so our desires to keep seeking after that, we ask for your Nable meant, your empowerment, your permission for this to continue for this ministry, to meet others, and a minister to those who need them. Again, this week, we have to go before us Grannis those opportunities as Divine appointments, and we might be those who Minister encouragement to those in the body of Christ, Asurion of Doctrine or the proclamation of the Gospel, to those who do not know you, we prayed you would open those doors that you would be glorified. God is our desire in Christ's name we pray, amen.
