Celebramos la vida de Juan Francisco Roque., las memorias que les dejó a sus familiares.

We celebrate the life of Juan Francisco Roque, the memories he left to his relatives.

Señor yo oro que en este dia podamos reflexionar que tan frágil es nuestra vida. Tu palabra dice que somos como la lilís del monte que hoy estamos aquí y mañana no sabemos.

Abre nuestro corazón y ayúdanos a acercarnos más a ti.

Gracias señor, en el Nombre de Jesús! ¡Amen!

Lord, I pray that on this day we may reflect on how fragile our lives are. Your word says that we are like the lilies of the mountain that we are here today and tomorrow we do not know.

De parte de la familia Roque, quiero darles las gracias a los familiares y amigos que se encuentran presentes. Gracias por su apoyo a la familia.

On behalf of the Roque family, I want to thank the family and friends who are present. Thank you for your support of the family.

Historia: Hoy estamos aquí en celebración de la vida de Juan francisco y recordandolo por los atributos que él poseía.

Today we are here in celebration of the life of Juan Francisco and to remember him for the attributes he possessed.

Se que todos los que conocían a Juan Francisco recordarán muchas cosas de él.

Su familia lo recordará como un padre luchador.

Un hombre trabajador.

Un hombre que le gustaba la playa y compartir con su familia.

Un hombre orgulloso de sus hijos.

Un hombre de palabra.

Y maestro del asado de puerco.

I know that everyone who knew Juan Francis will remember many things about him.

His family will remember him as a determined father. a working man.

A man who liked the beach and love spending time with his family.

A man that was proud of his children.

a man of his word.

And master of pork roast.

Cada uno de nosotros lo vamos a recordar de manera diferente…

Pero hay tres cosas que creo que son evidentes en la vida de Juan Fransico.

Y lo primero es ….

Each of us will remember him differently...

But there are three things that I think are evident in Juan Fransico's life.

And the first thing is....

El experimento larga vida./ He experienced a long life.

Nació en 1929 hasta ahora 2023 = 94 year.

Born in 1929 until 2023 = 94 years.

Desde el momento que nosotros somos concebidos hay un reloj que comienza……

From the moment we are conceived there is a clock that begins

Illustrated.

igual como la este reloJ la se va moviendo, algunas veces pensamos que el tiempo pasa lenta, otra veces pensamos que rápida,

Con el reloj medimos el tiempo, calculamos lo que vamos a hacer…..decimos tengo tiempo para ????… voy a hacer esto o lo otro.

Se nos olvida muchas veces que fue el relojero que le puso la batería al reloj y que esa batería se va agotando.

just as the hands of this watch is moving, …..sometimes we think that time passes slowly, other times we think that fast,

with the clock we measure time, calculate what we are going to do … ..we say I have time for ???? … I am going to do this or the other.

We forget many times that it was the watchmaker who put the battery to the watch and that that battery is running low.

Igual pasa con nuestras vidas, fue Dios quien nos dio aliento de vida y que nuestras vida se va agotando.poco a poco….. Tic-tac.

The same happens with our lives, it was God who breathed on us, and we became a living being . we have to remember that time is running out. Ticking.

Si tu estas aqui Dios te ha permitido la vida ... .para que le sigas a él…..

En la Biblia había un dilema en el tiempo de Jesús sobre quien era que lo iba a traicionar…Pedro ve a Juan en que está recostado de Jesus y le hace dos preguntas.

1. Quien te va a traicionar.

2. Que de este (Hablando de Juan)

If you are here God has allowed you life... .for you to follow him…..

In the Bible there was a dilemma in Jesus’ time about who was going to betray him…Peter sees John lying down on Jesus and asks him two questions.

1. Who will betray you?

2. What about him (speaking of John)

Oiga lo que Jesus le respondió.

Juan 21:22 Jesús le dijo*: «Si Yo quiero que él se quede hasta que Yo venga, ¿a ti, qué? Tú, sígueme».

John 21:22 Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!”

Transición a la acción:

Dios nos ha regalado vida para que le sigamos a él…..esa es la razón por la cual Dios nos da vida…

Qué estás haciendo con la vida que Dios te dio.

God has given us life to follow him...that is why God gives us life...

What are you doing with the life God gave you?

No solo Dios le dejó a Juan francisco experimentar larga vida sino que también…le dejó

Not only did God let Juan Francisco experience a long life but also... God allow him to

experimento la gracia de Dios./ Experience God’s grace.

Lo interesante es que Juan Francisco no experimentó esto porque él era especial…. Sino porque Dios es especial….

La palabra gracia significa: algo inmerecido, que no lo merecemos… y hay una razón por la cual no merecemos su gracias.Su misericordia, compasión, su bondad

What's interesting is that Juan Francisco did not experience Gods grace because he was good…. But because God is good…. Let me explain

The word grace means: Something unmerited, that we do not deserve it… And there is a reason why we do not deserve his graces. His mercy, compassion, his kindness

Y es que somos pecadores…../ you know why because We are

Hemos pecado (nadie nace siendo un cristiano). Rom 3:23 todos hemos pecado y estamos destituidos de la gloria de Dios.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

La paga del pecado es muerte, muerte espiritual. Rom 6:23.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Transicion Dios:

Sin embargo ….however

Rom 5:8 Pero Dios demuestra su amor por nosotros en esto: en que cuando todavía éramos pecadores, Cristo murió por nosotros.

Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Transicion:

No solo Juan Francisco experimentó la gracia de Dios sino que con esa gracias ……

Not only did Juan Francisco experience God's grace but with that grace......

El experimento la salvación./He experience God's salvation

Salmos 91:16 Lo saciaré de larga vida,Y le haré ver Mi salvación».

Dios es quien nos salva…/ God is the one who saves.

Psalm 91:16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Pero hay que creer:( Confiar en el) / but we have to believe. (trust in him)

Romanos 10:9 (NVI)9 que, si confiesas con tu boca que Jesús es el Señor y crees en tu corazón que Dios lo levantó de entre los muertos, serás salvo.

Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Conocer de Él:/ Know him.

Confianza en El:/ believe in him. (trust)

Compromiso con El:/commitment with him.

Dios quiere que nosotros los invoquemos…. Mire lo que dice la escritura…

God wants us to call uponHim.... Look at what the scripture says...

Romanos 10:13 (NVI)13 porque «todo el que invoque el nombre del Señor será salvo».

Romans 10:13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Dios quiere que solicitemos su ayuda… reconocer que necesitamos ayuda y que el único que puede salvarnos….

God wants us to ask for His help... recognize that we need help and that the only one who can save us....

Quiero que sepas que:

Dios te ha dado vida.

Ha extendido su gracia.

Y quiere darte salvación….

I want you to know that:

God has given you life.

He has extended his grace.

And He wants to give you salvation....

Si estás aquí en el día de hoy y nunca has puesto tu fe en el Señor, el reloj sigue hasta un dia……estamos destinado a un día morir (Hebreo 9:27)

If you are here today and have never put your faith in the Lord, the clock ticks down to a day. we are destined to one day die (Hebrews 9:27)
