THE 7TH SEAL AND THE TRUMPETS part 5
As I come forward
SLIDE 1 “WELCOME GLAD YOUR’RE HERE”
Words of encouragement from worship
Night of worship was so amazing
Ladies coffee connection yesterday
Men’s Fishing in Arkansas starts this Wednesday thru Saturday
last week we finished in Revelation Chapter 9
SLIDE 2 “REVELATION’S SEVEN TRUMPETS”
We learned of the 6th trumpet
About how the 6th angel and trumpet sounded
John hears a voice from the 4 horns of the golden altar of God
This voice tells the angel who had the trumpet to release the four angel bound to the river Euphrates
No holy angel would be bound so these angels would appear to be wicked
SLIDE 3 “SIXTH TRUMPET”
These angels are in charge of a vast army that follows them after liberation.... this army being 200 million that will kill not torment
This demonic army will kill 1/3 of the earths population
1/4 has already been killed in Rev chapter 6 with the ashen colored horse that killed with sword pestilence and famine and killed 1/4 of the earths population
SLIDE 4 “THE ASHEN HORSE”
This would mean 1/2 of the earths population is dead
All this are bound by the Lord this present day unable to act until the the Lord God gives their permission
SLIDE 5 “MEN WILL NOT REPENT”
The most frightening thing about Revelation 9 is not the judgments that God sends but the sins that men persist in committing even while God is judging them.
Another key point here is they will be worshipping demons and idols which cannot or will not deliver them.
Satan has always wanted to be worshipped
SLIDE 6
Isaiah 14:12–13 NASB95
12 “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! 13 “But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.
SLIDE 7
ISAIAH 14:14-15
Isaiah 14:14–15 NASB95
14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 “Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.
SLIDE 8
Matthew 4:8–10 NASB95
8 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9 and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’ ”
And so that brings us to Rev chapter 10
We have 6 trumpets sounded and 1 woe has past
SLIDE 9
Revelation 10:1 NASB95
1 I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire;
SLIDE 10
Revelation 10:2–3 NASB95
2 and he had in his hand a little book which was open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land; 3 and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.
SLIDE 11
Revelation 10:4 NASB95
4 When the seven peals of thunder had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up the things which the seven peals of thunder have spoken and do not write them.”
SLIDE 12
Revelation 10:5–6 NASB95
5 Then the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven, 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there will be delay no longer,
SLIDE 13
Revelation 10:7 NASB95
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.
SLIDE 14
Revelation 10:8 NASB95
8 Then the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard again speaking with me, and saying, “Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”
SLIDE 15
Revelation 10:9 NASB95
9 So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he said to me, “Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
SLIDE 16
Revelation 10:10–11 NASB95
10 I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. 11 And they said to me, “You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.”
We will se that more and more as we continue in Revelation
Also this parallels perfectly with Psalm 1 & 2 which very prophetic in itself
And what these chapters do is affirm those who plant their lives in living in God’s word and promises and who all truth about His Son Jesus
SLIDE 17
Psalm 2:1–2 NASB95
1 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
SLIDE 18
Psalm 2:3–4 NASB95
3 “Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!” 4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.
SLIDE 19
Psalm 2:5–6 NASB95
5 Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, 6 “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
