There's nothing. I'd rather be than your child.
Nothing better. The knowing you're much bigger than any problem, I could possibly have. The no matter what can happen to me. In this life. No matter you've got me. You got my back lord. My front inside and top and bottom to Lord, I just thank you. It's somehow you put inside of me.
Truth about how much you love me. I'm ever grateful. without that, I'm not sure where I would be, but the fact that you let me know,
How much you love me? What all you've done for me? Have to open my eyes. See the sun rise in the morning, sun, set in the evening, or the beauty in the rain, in the Wind. To know that you would have done it just for me, there was nobody else. Praise You Lord, thank you. Humble myself before you. Thank you for all the mothers that are here. I thank you for my Earthly mother. Thank you that you instilled that Spirit of love in them greater than almost anything here on Earth.
We thank you. We praise you.
Do we ask to know you more and more in Jesus name? Amen.

Maybe all of us. Can't relate because all of us have not been one. but we can relate because we have had one
in our mind of mother and we we evolve probably asked me and have tried to do something, to it sometime or another honor our mother and It kind of began in our house with trying to say, was, we had money or not, we tried to the very least, cook a meal for a mother. And I, I tried to start out cooking a meal for for Kathy and, and sometimes I didn't turn out so well. And it kind of work. So but I did want at least honor Cathy before she walked out to minister to the kids. Today just show you what kind of mother she was and what she told her daughters over the years.
The things that she imparted to her daughters, as you mothers have imparted to your children. I'm sure you did some of the same things and you can see a reflection of her in her daughter's today. What we formally did Oh, I got the look again. Oh, but I got up early tonight.
What we used to do for the mothers on Mother's Day when we had a lot of money and Mother says we wouldn't we started out. We actually gave you a card. I think we gave them to Books-A-Million or get coffee. I don't remember. And then the church started growing and then we started giving out just what a single rose for the mothers. And they really appreciated that and it kept growing. And we didn't have enough money to do that and I passed the staff with what to do, for the mother to help, where you at, we got to come up with, something to do for the mothers, always wanted to honor the mothers and we don't have the money to do anything else. Like, give him a a book marker for there by 1. We got down to that and I said, put marker for Mother's Day and that's when we just quit doing anything and and we just said, we just want you to know how much we love you and what we Finally said, is we need to just remember to train the young men when they when their wife becomes a mother or looking at their own mother, we just need to train them to remember that all through the year, just find out what really blessed is your wife, your mother, the mother of your children, find out what they like, what blesses them and try to do it from time to time during the year. And that's what, that's what I'll leave you with today. He had some all ages me and just try to study the woman in your life and do what you can to bless her. Amen. Is your release to go to Children. But over and Mark, it tells us something else about this encounter and verse 10:21. It's a Jesus felt genuine love for this man. Is he looked at him?
And I want you to remember this because I believe this is the case. Any time we have a question for the Lord.
He has genuine love for you when you come and ask him question. somehow we get it in our mind that
doesn't like for us asking questions that were a nuisance.
They just got more important things to do. How do you feel like maybe our Earthly? Father went, when he was busy working on the car and he didn't have time to stop and put the wrenches down and talk to it that he was looking at the computer and get away. I've got to finish this for work tomorrow.
Not like that. He's never ever ever like that. I know it blows my mind and yours too, to think that he could talk to all. What are we up to seven or eight billion people in the earth that he could talk to everyone at the same time? And answer the question? I know that's beyond my mental capacity to absorb that but he can't We can talk and answer everybody at the same time and it's not a nuisance to him. He loves question. Jesus looked at this guy and he loved them. He had genuine love for him. Find why does for you when you come to him with us your heart?
Don't ever forget that.
And he gave him an answer. That is really puzzling. I know, you know this story but have you stopped to absorb it because it is really weird. That Jesus who always said, it's not about the law. I know he came to fulfill it but he always talk. That's not how you get to heaven. He said it's by faith that you get to heaven is by believing in me this time that you get to the father and yet he answered this guy's by keeping the Commandments. What are the news?
And the man gave him back and then usual statement, he said I've kept them all and then Jesus had a more unusual response. He said instead of rebuking the guy Knowing but nobody can keep up with it, they're sitting rebuking for his answer.
He's just looked back at him as the guy said to him. Do I still lack bypass review? Perfect. Go sell what you have and give it to the poor and follow me.

You don't understand what's going on there. And what was going on there. Don't know if you remember a few weeks ago. I used the picture of a funnel to try to explain something that I was teaching on. That's what was going on here again. Thesis is really good at using a funnel and he's funneling, this man toward an answer, he's funneling him towards. Life is funneling him for what he needed to see about himself in about Jesus. He says. Keep the Commandments knowing the man can't. Man said I did, he said we should be perfect. Then do this and he's funneling him Ford life and he shows the man, what he cannot do he said, if you'd be perfect,
And you probably know this, but I'm going to say it anyway.
He knows the one thing that's keeping the man from really. Having returned alive from really being able to follow him. And in his case, it was his Richard. And a lot of messages have been preached about that about how you Riches of what keeps you. From the Lord. That's not the point of this at all. There's some people that yes, the riches that keep them from from going with God. That's not the point of this. The point of this is that in everybody's life, there's one thing at least that holds you back from fully following God. Not just on safe people, but Safe People.
There may be still in your life. At least one thing that keeps you from following the Lord fully.
And the object here on Mother's Day is not to waste of Sunday.
But the figure out what it is, Rich, Young Ruler. The Rich Young Ruler has already figured out that he's talking to the Messiah because he called him, good. And there's only one good. And that's God. And he said, what do I still lack? He already figured out. There was something lacking in his life, even though he thought, he kept all the Commandments.
UE was perfect to you. There was something else that Need. Matthew 16:25 says he is. Or whoever will save his life. Would save his life will lose it. But whoever loses his life, for my sake, will find it that verse used to scare the life out of me.
I did I had to I had a long lonely out in the desert scared to death. What's going to happen next the vultures are after me as soon as I kick off right here.
You're so scared a lot out of me.
Whoever saves his life will lose it. Whoever loses his life. For my sake will find it. And when I first became a Christian, I read that and I think of that only thing I could see that meeting was I've got to lose my life, I'm going to have to go in the mission field and back then, only thing I thought of was it was something somewhere in Africa in the middle of African tribe that have never heard the gospel and God's going to send me there and they're probably going to kill me. And I've got to lose my life for the gospel. Say that's the only way I can find my life. That's all I can see. And you know, that's one way to do it but that's not really what he's talkin about.
There's an eternal principle. That. Something has to be sacrificed in order to gain something else. That's, that's a principle of the key. It's really a principal anywhere but it's particularly a principle of the key. and,
Pertaining to you and me. If we're going to gain something. Spiritually. We got to sacrifice something natural. That's the way it works. Now, now that's not to say, That you have to pay something in the natural to gain something in the spiritual. So I get to this main point this morning. Let me explain what I'm not saying. Unfortunately, In Our Lifetime. We've been taught that you have to pay. Particularly in the church. You got to, you got to pay. You want to get something from God and nobody would admit that. But you know, that it's true, that that's a lot of the teaching that we're hearing today on TV. If you plant your seed here. Then God will even answer your prayer if you will send me this in the mail. Then go ahead and I want you to send me back a letter, telling me how God answers your prayer. Because you sent me this, he's going to give you a thousand fold. And when he does, I want you to send me a note back. And tell me, tell me you haven't heard that on TV.
And we parted so much. We've heard that lie so much that we just accept it, not true, it's a lot. It's wrong. It's the money changers in the temple, y'all.
Is it true that we reap? What we sow? Is it true that we plant seed that God, blesses it? Yeah, yeah.
Give and it shall be given unto you good measure pressed down shaken together, running over with God and it is that true? Absolutely. But it's all to do with motive, you know, if these guys that teach that we're teaching teaching it in Purity, they would say something like this and I'm going to say it to you. I want you to give them want you to give by faith, if you haven't need today and you need to give India. You know what? You don't have to give it here. Give it somewhere else. You can get, you can drop it in an offering on your way home at some other Church. May listen to some other Ministry. Their envelope. Cuz I know you get the mail out from somebody and you can mail it somewhere else or you don't have to give it here.
Now, all those TV preachers would say that, that would make it pure.
Oh, I'm not saying. But you have to pay for something in the natural, you get something spiritual. It's not that kind of transaction, but you have to sacrifice something in order to gain something in the spiritual, you have to sacrifice the natural. That's what fasting is.
You know, I'm going to say something bring shocking to some of y'all.
Some of us used to live. Where we drove our cars. Or hours on end without a phone.
My family wants went on vacation in a motorhome from Waycross. Georgia, drove all the way to Key West without a cell phone.

You know. I'm being silly, obviously. But there's some truth in and what I'm talkin about. Adair, there are some natural thing that must be laid aside in order to gain the spiritual Are some television sets. That need to be cut off in the natural. Must be sacrificed in order games. these are some simple things out right now, that must be sacrificed if you're going to if you're going to Jesus said,
First, he's got on his disciples because I didn't fast. No, they can't while the bridegroom is here, but the time's coming when the bridegroom is going to be taken from them. He didn't set it up as a legalistic thing. He didn't say you got to do it every week. He didn't say how long he said then they'll fast and he was saying if they're going to gain the spirit, they're going to maintain contact with the things of the spirit, they're going to have to sacrifice the natural from. Is it fun not for your flesh? But once you sacrifice something of the flesh, if you're going to have a gain of the If you are unwilling to sacrifice something of the natural, you will be sacrificing the spirit. See the converse is also true, you always sacrifice the spiritual. The natural.
You may be faced with I'm sounding like a old fashioned, you know, 1950s preacher right now. But the truth is truth. You're faced with spending time in the scripture or am I going to do blah blah blah, and look at all those YouTube videos that television program, that movie, that which one am I going to do my going to go for the spiritual realm or the solar shrimp movies when we get a chance to try to do that Friday night? We try not to watch anything too heavy on Saturday night, to keep our spirit free, you've just been on Saturday night. Free of that for 30 more night, Thursday, Friday night. We watch the movie, Y'all help me on the Tom Hanks Auto in Colorado.
Really good movie and I was sitting there and watching it and it's not it's not against getting into it and about halfway through it or so.
besides, I'm not recommending it either, but I'm about halfway into And I realize I'm just kind of thinking into my chair, you know, in a couple times with a little tear coming up here.
I'm realizing I have, I have entered into it, the oldest realm which is no different than the spiritual Realm. Emotions. I've gotten so wrapped up. Movie that I've gone too far into this thing. I've gotten too involved in this thing in the storage room. I didn't I don't remember there. Probably remember it right now. There was no nothing like that. Kind of wickedness that I remember. But it was very emotional and I had given I'd let my guard down and gotten very emotional in it.
Thesaurus. Real meself doesn't mean you're looking at pictures of somebody without clothes on it, doesn't I mean that it's particularly violent, which is also a thing that is very important to God. He destroyed the Earth because he saw it was filled with violence. Not for nography. Sonography is very, very, very important to God, but remember, it was violet.
a lot of things that we open ourselves up to in the Polish realm, that steal from the spiritual,
we get into the Polish room.
It takes away that time in the spirit. And we have to make a decision to sacrifice. Natural, the store with shrimp because our soul. Craves some of that stuff. you know, I don't crave watching something about
but some of this other, your flesh does, it's just wrong for the I wish Brown and I have to make a decision.

he said that publicly I wouldn't share, he said, Hotel room and turn on the TV.
One of those bad channels.
But you know what I'm saying? Flipped it on.
Watch it for a second. He said, no turn the channel.
And this was a very Godly, Man. Baptist preacher for like 30 years. He got filled with the Holy Spirit, pastor about 400 of a pastor. Don't know who eat.
Go to go hunting with people. Nor was I go to pick him up at his priests and they found him down on the ground on his face praying instead of a penny. You getting the pic. You getting the character back to the story. So, he turns on the TV, got one of those channels on it. Lips the channel. flip the channel, but
he's telling this is an old man, basically
good night.
Anyway. You get the point. You don't ever get out of your flesh to you. Let's just flash. Spirit is Spirit.
Yep, there it is. Booked up this morning. It was still there. You know what? You have to check if you wake up. There it is, right? If you don't wake up, glory to God.
I am so looking forward to when I wake up in that song, I can't wait. I love my family. I love my family that I want to be here every day. I can with him for I go. But when I go there, that's only going to be like that for them to be with me.

Something in the natural is sacrificed always for the spirit. Jesus said, if you want to be perfect, if you want this to be completed, there's something got to go, Rich, Young Ruler in your okay, you should rich and she's going to have to get rid of all of them and he turned around and left because he knew he was

I wrote this thing when I was sitting over there this morning, I don't even know if this is a word. I know it's like you're not, you're not paying something to get something spiritual. You're gapping. I don't know if that's a word that you're in, other words, you're making space.
You're making space in here. You're making room. Listen to the Rich Young Ruler. Get rid of that and make room for me, that that's occupying. The room that I want. Is that a better way of saying the story?

one of the one of the biggest changes is that
had this whatever is going on in my life. I've come to understand prayer without ceasing. I never could understand that in the Bible. Pray without ceasing.
But who can really do that? I mean you got stuff to do. Will I mean there are times when I've got to focus on certain things that I have to do, and I can't exactly pray while I'm focusing on that particular thing. I've got a I got to look at word up, man. I got to let you know, I can't things. but other than that, certain things,
I'll come real close to that. And I'm not saying that in a braggadocious way. I don't mean it that way at all. I don't mean that at all,
I found that my desire has become to do that.
when I catch myself thinking, say it like that.
Wework South Point. all, I couldn't hardly sleep but a couple hours a night because I was always thinking of what we were going to do next trying to get a vision for what we're going to do next. Being spiritual. Drama so crazy and I couldn't sleep. Just trying to think of what the heck are we supposed to do on this person's? Got that problem? How we going to fix that? How can I help this person?
for those of you who have trouble sleeping and can't get your mom to stop doing this all the time,
I know nobody here. Somebody's Watching online. and so,
now, when I catch myself thinking,
I automatically. Switch over to prayer and it's not hard to do immediately go to prayer and I pray the rest. I pray myself to sleep every night. I do not. Spend time thinking about, you know, what I mean? Is I don't waste time doing that, even things that need to be thought about. I think about a little bit and I can run into prayer and God gives the answer. It works out.
I concentrated on prayer. God has changed that in me where I'm praying all the time. It's going to as much as as much as possible. I think I'm praying without ceasing. And my life is different. There's a different kind of Peace in it. Do I get aggravated frustrated sometimes still? Oh yeah. But it's that much compared to where it was before it's changed. Totally the prayer. Without ceasing might not be asleep but it's completely different. You see what I'm saying? In.
I read the other day where Oswald Chambers said, you're not a completely trustworthy person until you can say, you'd rather be praying than anything else.
Well I'm used to read not going and read these bumper stickers. That say, I'd rather be flying, I'd rather be sailing, I'd rather be whatever he said, you're not completely trustworthy until you can say, I'd rather be praying. Not worshipping. Not reading my Bible but praying. And I get it. Nothing wrong with the other things, you better enjoy all those things. Other things are that are part of a believer's life.
But praying, I used to think that was the door part that was for the intercessors that was for somebody else. I'm not just bringing this up cuz it's Mother's Day that I used to think that was more of a woman's job to pray in the men were the Warriors. We went out and got things done in the intercessors hogwash.
Prayer.
Because I don't see myself in a cold room. Now, just praying for thing. Prayer. Is coming before the Lord and be. right there with And getting to know who he is. And there's very little asking for Stuff.
1st Thessalonians 5:17 says pray without ceasing.
But John 14:13 says, whatever you ask in my name. My last for someone give you. This, I will do that. The father may be glorified in the son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
You ask anything in my name? I will do it and suddenly That became a popular verse and we had all these people running around praying in my name and people running around going. I just rebuke you devil in the name of Jesus name of Jesus, I command you. In the name of Jesus, we did cuz I got this scripture that says I can do anything in the name soap in the name of Jesus and they didn't understand what he was saying. It's not that you just pulled the name of Jesus out of a hat. It's in the nature of Jesus.
It's not just using the name of by name.
I can't take somebody's name and just use it to get something accomplished. I have to use it in the nature of in the way they would do it. I have to have the spirit of
and that's what he was saying. If this is what he has sent me to do in the authority of in the nature of in the way, he would do it. I can't take in the name of Jesus and go outside right now and say in the name of Jesus. As I lay my hands on your car and claim your car for myself, that is not the nature of Jesus. Drive your Jeep today. I cannot go out and do that for Vans cheap. Write what you said. That would not be his nature, would it?
But in the nature of the Lord is what he spoke. It has not do that in his nature, is I spent time with him in prayer. As I've understood, the will of God. And I go out in the will of God. Now, I get that prayer answer. I don't just run around willy-nilly, just sang in the name of Jesus and this, and that, and this and that, that's why so many people run around like the seven sons of Stephen chased by demons instead of chasing demons. I haven't known the nature of the Lord.
I just knew the name of the Lord.

I just want to remind you. What I'm what I'm doing today. Same thing that we try to do every week. Know him.
I really don't know why we do that anyway. Right away. That started to bless you with because people thought when you sneeze, your spirit was leaving your body. I don't even know why we do that. I don't believe that. Yeah, we just bless you anyway, your spirit is still there.
