conditional or unconditional love
is God love con or uncon?
Where looking at
6 or 9 drawn, one or other, but perspective can make it LOOK like the other
get to author
have to look at next to it
e.g. other numbers next to it
what side drawn from
why a number would be there
so it is with God’s love
condition or uncond depending on perspective, but truly it is one or the other
get to author
God love is light
one constant beam, but receiver bends it
clear glass or solid concrete
perspective
shinning on us looks conditional because what want with it
angels saved demons doomed
shinning from God looks unconditional because shines on all
Scripture Church clearly teach: God wills all saved.
So which perspective is deceptive and which perspective sees clearly? uncon or con?
obviously right perspec God’s side, from the side of truth itself, the author of the love
God’s love is unconditional, for it shines on all
God loved us even when we were sinners,
doesnt change
unchanging love is the same love that damns or saves by let it shine on us
because God loves sinners wills their Good: which is the total annihilation of our sins (the bad in us)
to want someone’s good is to not want them to have bad
doesnt force to reject sin
so since its good for our sins to be destroyed he will accomplish this, whether this means salvation or not depends on where we ultimately choose to be: in our sin or in Him, for he will not force us to love back
only change and conditional us, not Him and His love
our perspective mistakenly think His love conditional rather than our free choice.
Gospel today
IF you love me keep my commandments..Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me
clear glass or concrete
love and so accept or reject the light?
But how can love of God be following commandments?
love isnt a feeling (bears repeating in this age)
they help or harm love
love means to will
to love God is to will the Good
to will good is to follow commandments
so to love God means to follow the commandments
if choose not to love God we choose to cloud his unconditional love out of our life
love is an intentional act
an intention of love not really acted on when we have the chance is no intention at all
Desire good that never act on makes us more evil, not less, because had the desire for good and rejected it!
the path to hell is paved with unacted on good intentions
the commandments are nothing other than acted on loving intention: willing the actual good.
not mere niceness (sometimes harsh)
not mere pleasure (sometimes painful POINT cross)
but God Himself, the Good
Yes, we’re Unconditional loved, but conditionally received.
The light, since it is unconditional is likewise unstoppable.
it has no conditions
Since the light of his love is indomitable, guiding and allowing absolutely everything for the good (even when hidden), if we live in it and not against it, what could possibly destroy our peace even if we find ourselves hanging upon the cross of his unconditional love?
