One of the biggest cause of depression in an individual or the breakdown of a relationship can be the lack of acknowledgment. When your efforts of teaching, correcting, nursing, devotion, love, blood, sweat, and tears go unnoticed, Mothers can feel like their efforts are pointless and without fruit. Ive taken note of many mothers in my short life who see all their labors as useful as teaching brick walls the English language. I have heard women talk of how their children do not reverence them as they should, not treasuring their wisdom. I have heard awful things about so called Christian husbands who give not the slightest compliment, commendation, or congratulations to their wives godly action. The constant request for snacks, attention, clean ups, can make you feel underappreciated

Mothers need a rich theology

If Men are the Muscles to any society or family, then Women are the bones. a body with the strongest muscles in the world is useless unless the supporting structure of the bones are there to give them form and keep them upright. that’s how i view the importance of mothers. Paul makes it very clear in Romans 1 that the last ones to fall prey to a depraved mind in a society are the women because they are they ones who are suppose the most rooted in their nurturing nature. So, when the women in a society start to go bad, you know the situation is dire. men, without the influence of their godly wives and mothers and other motherly figures in their lives, use their God given strength and leadership skills for selfish purposes and end up doing more harm. its almost like we were made to be together and work as a team. the key to any Christ following, God glorifying family is the bones of that family, the mothers. you cannot have the bones without the muscle and you cannot have the muscles without the bones and that’s what the women are. And the only way to strengthen those bones is to have a heart and mind saturated with constant exposure to the Word of God. So, that they may know God, love Him, serve Him, Fear Him, adore Him, support their husbands with that and train their children with it. Mothers need a rich theology.

Its an established fact that our children are being warped and corrupted by a society that is against them, that wish to pervert them, and seeks to enslave them. In many cases, they seem to be doing more converting than we are. The sexualization of children by public schooling is a war that is not going to go away anytime soon. It is a battle, and mothers are right in the thick of it. Mothers need good theology, a well developed, systematic belief in the Triune God of scripture in order to combat the lies of this world. What you take time to teach them, they will carry, in some way, shape, or form, into the world, for the rest of their lives. It use to be that being countercultural looked like punk rock. It use to be that being anti-establishment looked like hippies. Wanna know what it looks like today?
