Introduction

Standing before us are 5 graduates (or soon to be graduates) who have worked hard to get where they are at. They wouldn’t be here by themselves, though. Behind every graduate is an army of loved ones, family, and friends who have helped them get to this point. More than even that, though, there is a God who created each of them and Who has sustained each of them, and Who has a perfect plan for each of them as they enter this new chapter in their lives. Some people wrongly say that children and youth are only the church of tomorrow - that’s a true statement, but it’s only a half-truth. Children and Youth are also the church of today. God has a plan for them, today. God wants them to serve, today. God wants to use them, today. Students, congratulations on arriving at this point. No doubt there have been hard days on the journey to this point. No doubt there will be more hard days in the days to come as you discern what God wants you to do in this next chapter. Remember WHOSE you are as you enter this new season of life - you are an adopted child of the King. Trust in Him. Grow in His Word. Share His Gospel with others.
Church family, in the days to come, pray for these students. God has used them in mighty ways in recent years and I believe He will continue to use them in mighty ways in the days to come as well. They need our support and prayer. In a strange world that doesn’t value the Bible, morality, or Jesus Christ, we need to pray that God will equip them and help them stand strong in the days to come. That He would use them to further His Kingdom as they enter this new chapter. At this time, I would like to ask these 5 to come forward as well as their families. Y’all at least can act like you like one another for a minute or two! We can either hold hands or lay hands on one another up front. Church family, let’s take a minute to pray for these students and let’s remember to lift them up in prayer in the days to come as well!
