How many people do you know that have or are having a Disrupted Journey?
Sometimes we are on a good course but it needs just a little adjustment.
Sometimes we get a complete course correction.
Like Saul leading the charge to remove Christians to becoming a leader of Christians.
Most of us however are doing what we need to do following what we believe is God’s will for us.
Father will often disrupt our good plans and ideas with His plans.
Nehemiah had plans to serve the King who captured him and his people, but God had plans for him to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
Moses had plans to raise his family away from all the problems back home in Egypt, but God had plans for him to lead His people out of slavery and into the promise land.
David had plans to be the best shepherd around on who can kill lions, bears, and most of one who worships God in all he does, but God had other plans for him.
Gideon had plans to keep his people’s food safe but God had other plans for him.
Gideon gets called by an angel that he is Valiant Warrior.
Good plans can be the enemy of God’s plans for you.
God’s plans always have what seems impossible in them.
If it is possible with out Him then they are not His plans.
One thing all these stories have in common is they all needed to trust God in their journey.
John 15:7 NASB95
7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 16:13 NASB95
13 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
1 John 2:27 NASB95
27 As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.
1 John 2:20–21 NASB95
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. 21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
Psalm 139:17–18 NASB95
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.
