Introduction:

Well, we find ourselves this morning in the second chapter of Paul’s first letter to the Church in Corinth. This will be our fourth Sunday spent in this glorious letter, and we have already covered lots of ground. The first week we looked at Paul’s introduction to the letter wherein he emphasizes and addresses the Corinthians according to their identity in Christ. He reveals that they have been made holy, or sanctified, in Christ Jesus, have thus been called to actually be holy , and that they have been gifted in such a way as to equip them for that journey unto holiness!
