B. Great and mighty things will come from Abrahams offspring.

A. Vs 9-14 Circumcision is a fleshly sign of the covenant between Abraham and God. Generation to generation.
B. A personal, physical reminder

A. Vs 15-22 God gives Abraham His plan.
B. Abraham falls to his face in laughter! This is different than the reverence he fell down to before!
C. Abraham asked he be blessed through Ishmael.
18 And Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before you!”
D. Ishmael = God Hears, but the covenant is through Sarah and Abraham.
