1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; That put darkness for light, and light for darkness; That put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
We live in perilous times!
Times in which everything is being redefined
My fathers generation questioned everything.
My generation challenged everything.
This generation changes everything.
Going to make several troubling statements…
Today we are told there are at a minimum of 68 genders...
But when pressed, there is really an infinite number of genders because gender is a spectrum!
You can be Agender meaning you don’t identify with the idea or experience of having a gender.
You can be Aliagender meaning you do not identify or fit into an existing gender scheme or construct.
You can be Bigender meaning you identify with two distinct genders. (That does not mean you play for both teams, rather that you identify with two points on the gender spectrum.)
Bottom line: We no longer live in a Christian society!
Lest you did not hear me, let me repeat: America is NOT a christian nation!
In 2020 47% claimed membership in a church, synagogue or mosque - down more than 20% in 20 years
Down from 73% in 1940
In 2020 COVID hit and ppl found that church was completely unimportant.
Christianity Today: “More Churches Closed than Opened in 2019. Then Came the Pandemic.”
Today, 26% of Americans go to church on a regular basis - being defined as 1 time a month!
Many of the 26% profess NO church membership
There are more pagans in the US than christians!
We have to have a paradigm shift: realize we are missionaries in our own country!
The concept of church is broken and no longer works!
The Church, the gospel, the Ekklisia, is not broken but the American idea of church is.
In a world where everything is changing, there are some things that can NEVER CHANGE!
Things that can never change!
There is one God whose name is Jesus
That one God robed himself in flesh and walked perfectly among men, gave his life so that we may live!
Salvation is:
Belief
Confession
Repentance
Baptism in Jesus name by full immersion
Infilling of the Holy Ghost proven by two things
Initial evidence by speaking in other tongues (Justification)
Can not be taught by man
Second evidence is a changed life - get on what the prophet Isaiah called The Highway of Holiness! (Sanctification)
Endure until the end like a good soldier
THAT CAN NEVER CHANGE!
Other things that should never change
I know holiness can be a touchy subject as some things are up to the pastors discretion - many things are NOT!
There are only two genders; man and woman.
Men
Be a man!
Be strong as you are the protector of the physical family
Put of clothes including long pants!
Where is my bible?
We demand out ladies to carry the banner of holiness with dress and hair. They stand out everywhere they go, why can’t you just take one for the team!
Show me where less clothes was ever ok in the word of God? Less clothes is only ok in a society where there are 68 genders!
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
My grandfather’s generations saw they insanity that we live in today and said PUT CLOTHES ON!
You better have a good reason to change what our forefathers established by their word!
and if women can show their calves, men can to is not a good reason.
Women
Be a woman/lady
You are the nourishment of the family
Dress
Necklines, dress lengths, sleeve lengths, dress size matter!
Hair matters!
Don’t mess with your glory!
Don’t cut it, dye it, burn it, tease it till it breaks off
Removing yourself from covering!
Your adornment is the Holy Ghost!
Not wearing jewelry should never change!
Not wearing makeup should never change!
Stop telling God he is not enough!
Only way you will ever be able to be meek and quiet is if God is your adornment!
Holiness is proof that the holy ghost is still there!
Living in you
Heart vs. head
Church attendance is critical to your survival!
