Lord, thank you. May be seated. Amen. Good morning. And it's great to have you all out here this morning to Worship the Lord with us. So grateful to see you all this morning and we're excited for that which is about to take place to worship of Our Lord, the reading in the preaching of his word. That is open to anyone and everyone we would love to see you there Sunday, June 4th, quickly, approaching just a few weeks out. We're going to have our graduate recognition service down at the Belle Valley Park is going to be weather. Dependent is going to be one service outside we decided last week. It was bag chairs and bibles in that what we said, bag, chairs and bibles. So two weeks away, June 4th, Sunday, June 4th, pray for great weather. I have one service at the Belle Valley Park to honor our graduates, and Worship the Lord down there, and in a very public setting to work cited for that. Do you want to say the Kickball tournament? So I'm going to Lada raised eyebrows now, nobody signed up for the Kickball tournament. I know shocked, I was shocked as well, so here's what we'll do. If people show up and I after you eat, if you want to play with put together a couple with a couple throw together teams and play, if not, then we're just going to enjoy the fellowship and I'll tell you this, I don't know man. Or I don't know how long we do that picnic. This is probably our third or fourth or fifth year, being at that picnic. This might be the first time I get to sit around and talk instead of having to run the bases, you know. So I'm I'm a little bit excited that there could that I that I could not be playing kickball. So we'll see. That comes with Lynn told me. That's a sign of maturity. So any rate, I'll be excited. If we get to play I'll be excited if we do either way, I'm looking forward to the picnic and we hope that you come. We hope that you invite some friends. If you did not notice this morning, There during our countdown. We had a slideshow of our graduates being honored playing next week will take time out of our service to watch that together so we can encourage you not to go back on Facebook and watch that slideshow that was put together or come next week and we will take time to to recognize those those graduates. That is Sunday, June, 4th, Sunday, June 11th. We have church conference Monday. June 12th 6 p.m. women's ministry, meeting and meal and as well, will a tree on June 20th for the widows? Do you want to call your attention in the bulletin? We have a little half sheet of paper. That is entitled at the top and bold letters youth Minister question. Are many of you. Hopefully, you know we have started advertising our job opening for youth Minister. And what this is is God's way of value. Your opinion of the Personnel committee is tasked with reviewing applications and putting together interviews but we really really, really value. Your input your opinions in your desire. So we have a couple questions out there for you. We would like for you to give us some a desired traits or characteristics that you would like to see in a new youth Minister. And also on the bottom question, you can also give us a question that you would like the Personnel committee to ask any potential hires for that youth ministry. We sent this survey out online, we've had several people respond, and I will tell you, I will just tell you some of the questions we have. Got our fantastic questions to ask this if we interviewees for the position. So we really value your input, it will be put to good use and we are prayerfully awaiting. The god of the man that God has for us in this position. So we at, we value your opinion on that. Please fill out the survey. You can just fold it up and put it in an offering box on your way out and we greatly appreciate it. And as you know, hopefully, you know, today kicks off day one of our several day Revival service. We're so excited to have brother Rick corn with us from Jacksonville, Florida, and you're going to get to hear a great word from him here in just a little while. We are so grateful to wake up this beautiful day to be able, to lift our eyes to the Heavens to know that you are exalted. Father, we praise you. We thank you for the opportunity to join here to worship you this morning, to fix our eyes on your son, to Feast on your word, and I would just ask. Now, all of us, we lift up, lift up our hearts to you. God, we ask you to clear. Our minds open our hearts to hear from you to receive your word with joy, with faithfulness, with obedient Sky. We asked help us not leave here. The same way we came in and go follow me. Give you all the praise. You deserve all the glory in Jesus name. Amen.

Amen. Let's bow our heads this morning and take our prayer for offering. I do remind you, we do not pass offering plate. Why we are so grateful grateful this day to be alive grateful this day to be known by. You got to have the opportunity to know you as revealed in your word as revealed brought to us in your son. Jesus Christ. Father, we are so grateful. Humbled to be standing in your presence this morning and the fellowship of your church and worship in your Holy Name. Got is we now come to this time of offering as we pray, what it is to give back into your kingdom. Weather BR live for our finances, got our time and our talents. Help us focus on you. Help us dig into your word, help us seek to do your will and that which we do and say and father, would you receive the glory? Help us be good? Stewards of the finances. You have laid before us to continue the work of ministry. I need to share the Hope in the name of your holy son, Jesus around the globe. Evangelist for over 30 years as a wife, and several three children back in Florida, and we are so grateful to have him here with Ledgeview. I'm not going to go into extreme detail but if you know the story for the rick was to be with us last year about this time and some unforeseen circumstances took place and he was unable to join with us or we canceled the Revival. And so this this is I've met brother Rick, maybe a few times very short, but I say to him, this is long overdue. Anyway, we're excited to have him and I'll let you know brother. Rick comes, he has a history as a had, a great relationship with Pastor Larry and so know that he comes with the highest. The highest of regards from our beloved brother Pastor Larry. 40 series of meetings, we've only got five Services Sunday night just kind of sets the table for the week. So I pray you'll be in the house of God and I've got a special word tonight for the family. Actually, I pray you a build a house of God, it's going to be a great week in the Lord. Take your bibles, if you wouldn't find the book of Romans, go to Romans chapter number 13, Romans 13. And I'm preaching today on this subject, it is high time for Revival. It is high time for Revival from The Book of Numbers, stand for the reading of the word of God. Would you do that? Everybody standing I'm in numbers. 13 are beginning verse 11 and I'll read through the end of the chapter Romans 13:11. The Bible says, and do this knowing the time, but now it is time to awake out of sleep. But now our Salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far, spent the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness. Let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly is in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness. Not in lewdness, unless not in striping, in be, but put on the Lord, Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh. To fulfill its lust. I'm preaching today on this subject, it is high time for Revival. It's high time for Revival. You'd agree with that. Shout, amen. Amen. Please be seated. Again, I love the story of the husband and wife were both 60 years old and they decided to celebrate their 40th wedding. Anniversary about taking a trip to Hawaii when they got there. Why the wife was upstairs in the hotel room unpacking and the husband decided to walk down on the beach. It was walking on the beach and came across some magic lamp. Washed up from the ocean and was lying in the sand. The sixty-year-old man picked up the lamp and rubbed it in the genie appeared. At the Jenny said, you're my new master and I'll Grant you one wish anything you want. It's yours. Then got really excited that I'm 60 years old. My wife is 60 years old and said, we've been married, a long time. And she's upstairs in the room back and we're on our 40th anniversary, Jenny. She was a good woman, but she's not the woman. I married, Jenny. I just wonder if you'd make my wife 30 years younger than me, then he put his hands together, nodded his head. And suddenly, that old boy was 90 years old.

So, I don't think that's the change. It was looking forward to you. My friend. I don't know about you, but I'm looking for a change, aren't you? I'm not looking for a change. In my age of my appearance. I'm looking for a change in America. We need to change and the change needs to begin in the church at the change needs to come with reliable. That's exactly what we need. Come On Son. I mean we all need that from time to time from time to time. Good churches, have Revival from time-to-time. Good preacher. Steve Revival from time-to-time. Good Christians. We get busy and bog down and bored with church work clothes when we get cold in can place it under those times, when we get locked in one of those religious rights, you know what I'm talking about that when those times, I'm glad the same recipe has always been the same one that will cure any ill brainy generation phone. As old-fashioned as it sounds. We just need one of those heaven-sent. God bless demon defeating soul-stirring, send killing fire falling holding Revivals, we just need Revival and we don't just need Revival. I believe it's hard time for Revival. That's exactly what the Apostle Paul said. In the Book of Romans has been called the Christian Constitution, not only because it lays down the fundamentals of our faith, but it also gives us insight for daily practical. Christian Living on the 13th, chapter of Romans chapter 10 verses that we did not read. Reminding us how to be good citizens and be good stewards and be good service. When Paul comes to the 11th, verse the whole pint of the passage changes. And he tells us how to be good soldier Taps into the imagery of a Roman soldier. His picture of a Roman soldier was asleep in his tent. When the bugle sound the alarm and the soldier gets up, takes off his pajamas. Puts on his battle gear and gets in the bike and pull uses the word to describe that. Look what he says in verse 11. Pause isn't do this knowing the time that it's hot. Somebody should have already taken place where we get our word. Instant, he's talking about something that should have happened. It's hot damn son. There's a difference between time and hard time when I mean there was a difference. It's high time. You straightened up, it's high time, you cleaned your room, it's high time, you got a haircut and I used to get those. Mama said it's hot. It's time to move. Don't know what I'm saying. This good pulse and it's high time. It's high time in America for a Bible High time for Spiritual Awakening. It's high time for churches to rise up, high time for Christians to stand up for altars to fill up for prayers to go up. Paul says it's high time and using the Roman soldier is a picture. I don't know who does, but I do three pictures. Paul gives us it's high time for number one soldier. Paul says, it's high time to rise from sleep. I'll say that one more time and do this, knowing the time it's high time to awake. Awake is another action word that word means to rise up from sleep. Rise Up from Slumber, he's staying awake awake, get up. That's what he say, by the way, you know, I love that word preacher. That word awake is the same Greek word used to describe the resurrection of the dead. That's what revivalist. Revival me to bring back 2 life. Revival needs to restore the previous condition have been for 35 years and I'll preach in some dead churches from time to time. I appreciate the wonderful and you got to be a preacher understand what that feels like your head up against the wall.

Let you things stick out. Go ahead and spit, and swear, we don't care. We were dead before you got here, will be dead after you leave and we really don't care what the dentist church I've ever been in. And it's been long enough to talk about it with the county seat down in Virginia. My second year, in the veins of 1989 of preaching that your time telling you, nobody greeted me. It was so unfriendly act like nobody. Like I walk down that aisle that Sunday morning to take my seat, nobody shook my hand, nobody was warm and gracious and as I'm walking down the aisle, I can't you not know, intelligent a man and a woman walked up to me and I found out later. She was a church treasury. He was the chairman of deacons and I stuck my hand out but I'm not kidding. They didn't stick their hand out to greet me and that woman before, I can say words in French I only got two questions. I said she's a number one, you're not one of those loud preachers. Are you? She said I don't like loud preaching before I can even stand there and lie to her. Here's the second question. She said, I'm pretty sure you're not one in the Hellfire. I hate Hellfire and brimstone preaching. I'm not getting the man spoke up and said, well, all I got to say is, I hope you don't expect much this Bunch. Don't get excited about much of anything. And I thought, well, callaloo your I'm in a happy hour Baptist Church, man. I mean, it's going to be a free smokestack wire, came out to sing, and I know you think I'm being critical but I'm not they have the long road, nothing wrong with rose but they sang that old high Church Anthem, the Lord is in his holy Temple. And I do give a heard that song, but it takes 10 minutes to sing, and it just draws on and on and I'm telling you, they were killing it. And that's not a compliment. They were killing it. Singing, the Lord is in his holy Temple, buddy, I got up to preach and his exactly what happened. I look down while I was preaching on the second word that church treasure, that woman and her husband set and she had her head down preacher with both hands to the side of her head. Looking at the floor by my loud. Preaching wasn't bothering her husband. Call Dad. Oh boy, was sound asleep! Son sound asleep. You know what I've discovered though? I've discovered you can sleep with your eyes wide open. I was going to you can come to church all the time and be over Sunday and not good what God's trying to do. Sometimes we get that way. I'm not criticizing. Anybody already said Sometimes the best Christians need that from time to time to church cuz I'm used to things have been a long time since we got stirred up and I'm not do my running around the building. How much am I doing something? Dumb. I'm talking about when the spirit of God moves in and warms us up and it wakes us up and it shakes us up and it stirs us up and it takes away the chill and puts back the thrill. And from time to time we all need that thing it's time to rise from sleeps. Can I give you a couple of reasons? We need a ride from sleep in the generation we're living in first off, we need a ride to sleep because times are serious notice at work time and do this. Knowing the time it's high time to wake up to sleep. Now, that's one English word found twice the work time.

The second Greek words talking about the time of day like am right now, it's 11:07. It's the time of day but the word the first wartime is totally different. That mean the season pulse is don't know the season. You're living in know what's going on around you and I'm doing but, you know, we're living in a difficult season. For this is the dangerous season. I mean, I've never seen stuff like we're seeing in this generation every day tomorrow. Boundaries get pushed out further everyday crime, gets more shocking everyday. The news gets more depressing. I'll be honest and be really easy preacher for us to lay in spiritual bed and pull the covers up over ahead and say what I'm saying, I'm on my way to help the world is going to hell. Anyway, I'm just going to lay here and wait for the Rapture, but there's two reasons, we can do that two reasons. We got to be busy to reason that goes on the day. Jesus Christ, saved you. He not only gave you a, i Are you a lot to shine? And these are days to shine the light on your light in a hundred different ways, this parking lot full of cars. Doing the same thing tonight and Shine Your Light When you pray in public over a meal in a restaurant soon as your shine your light in school in the locker room in the classroom, Shine Your Light in your community. He said, Shine Your Light James. Kennedy Dr. Kennedy was one of my favorite creatures, he was a presbyterian preacher D. James Kennedy was the guy in the 1960s from Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale Florida that develop that witnessing to call Deb angelism explosion had one all over the world to witness to his Angel is an explosion and D. James, Kennedy the love this story in the secular 1970s the liberal 70s. He was invited to speak in the town and the local news anchor, invited him to come give an interview on the television show. What does it mean to be a Christian? What's it mean to be safe? Would you mind giving us your testimony? He was shocked goes. This is the secular liberal 70s, man and was a large American city on their television station. The boy, he launched into it, he gave his testimony of Jesus died on the cross for, is Saint Rose from the grave. Save, his soul changed his life. He lost it at this one, and it went to commercial break and don't forget to look at the woman. You said, you know, I appreciate you, let me do that, but you might want to get your resume together. He said you're going to get fired for letting me testify Jesus on television station like this in this large city. My job's. Okay, they're filming you. He said, yes, ma'am. She said five years ago, I let him to Jesus Christ said. See my co-anchor, the man across the desk for less. He said, yes, ma'am. She said three years ago, I'll let him know. Jesus Christ Our station manager to Jesus Christ last year, our station manager, let our station older than Jesus Christ. She said, I'm afraid. If I don't let you testify, I will lose my job. But we need a little more that can I get a witness a man? You know what he says? He's just ride from sleep. He says roster asleep because times are serious church, we can just say that what a Ministry God's giving you a bell Dolly, what a Ministry God has given you a call with only been on top of this hill on the hill man. For now our Salvation is nearer than when we first believed and that works top action means Deliverance, you do know yourself. Pretenses, don't you? You've got a pass elevation, you got a person salvation, and you got a future salvation 3, senses, tenses of time. You've got a past celebration that happened to that, you never the foot of the cross and you were safe. If you have been safe show, they meant why didn't you got a present salvation? That's right now. That's today. Grip don't flip. He's working at Salvation out through you. So you got a pass elevation is good. That's across. You got a prison salvation that's today. But Hallelujah, you got a future salvation. Salvation is nearer than when. We believe he amplifies a tan inverse 12, you talk about the Rapture. It doesn't work well. Not as far spent the day is it and he's gone by the coming of the Lord brings. The day is approaching or the day is near. You do know where 2000, you're closer to the Raptors in the day. Now in that 12 verse The night is far spent the day is in. This is so simple. We get out of bed was first time. We do we change clothes? He says, therefore let us cast off, the works of darkness leads to fling off. Like a fling it all dirty clothes, falling off. Cast off the works of darkness, getting dressed teenagers and put on the armor of light. Again, it's a picture. What you did this morning? The alarm sounded shipped here from sleep, got out of bed. Clean up in the first thing, you did was put on other garments to come to church it. Don't like getting dressed, the soldier getting dressed. I apply for a living for all the time, fluid to Columbus yesterday and why all the time. And all these years, I usually fly Delta and I want to go to for a minute cuz all these years. They've only lost my luggage, about four times, all these years. And if you don't fly, you may not know this. But if you're like, it doesn't make it. They'll take it to where you are now shutter, you might be several hours away, but they'll take it in Arkansas. And I got my rental car and I was 2 hours away from the little hotel. I was staying in the little town on staying in my luggage didn't come, so I had to get him to give them the address. I think we've got one more flight coming in tonight. I got there about 8:00 that evening, so we got one more flight from Jacksonville to Atlanta to this town in Arkansas. Your luggage will be on the flight from Atlanta to you about 12:31 in the morning. I had to have that luggage. Everything's in my luggage, having my socks were there in my underwear. My clothes, my hair product. I mean, everything I just want to see if you're all right. Everything is in that luggage, all the stuff in that luggage, my change of clothes. Everything's in there, have a 2-year midnight one. Well, I withhold tell long about 12:30 no, luggage long about 1, no luggage. That's why I called Delta. And finally got a human on the line into wonderful when you can talk to a human being on the way. Lego love you and they said your luggage did not make it tonight. It'll be on the morning flight, you won't get it tomorrow cuz I have some stuff that they're hiding from stuff. The old one toothpaste, all that stuff. Change of clothes, someone to The Only Store open in that little town. Not coming. I I would have the Super Walmart in the last time you been to Walmart at 2 a.m. get special, I want you to understand that if you looked up the Greek word for pajamas in the dictionary, it would say Walmart a tire. I really believe that man. And I'm not making this up. I thought in line if I don't want to leave it behind this woman checking out this lady. She's standing in line. Y'all? No kidding and she had pink fuzzy slippers on green striped pajamas at a blue house coat young woman and the best I can remember. She has some chocolate candy, some potato chips, and a gal of Coca-Cola or dr. Pepper or something like that.

Trying to engage her in conversation. The Walmart rap lift, the counter lady looked at her and she said you don't have a good like that their pajama days, chill out days days when you have nothing to do. But can I tell you what, everybody in this building probably will do in the morning students and adults, everybody. All of us will get up in the morning. Sometime, you'll clean up and change clothes and you'll leave your house. I don't want to listen to Power this statement, I do not know what you'll be wearing when you walk out your door tomorrow. I do not know what your fashion statement will be, or your design will be, but, I will promise you this. When you walk out your front door, you better be dressed for battle. There's a war going on outside your door even though you can't see the enemy you're fighting. He's out there. I don't want to tell her to Christian Life. How much who you are? And how long you been see? He's waiting for you in the morning, waiting for you in a moment. When you walk out that door, I don't want, you know, you better be dressed for battle. So, Paul is talking to the soldier and Paul said, don't just rise up. Now, there's a job to do report for service. What does that mean? If your soldiers Lord. Show up for battle, show up about, ali talks about the enemy and verse 12, he says, little scuffs off the works of darkness Sun. That means the enemy standing in the shadows, enemy standing in the shadows in the world. Ever, wonder why we got so much of each other. Like they do you ever wonder why you got to work hard to have a strong marriage and raise good children, and give her wonder why we got an opioid problem in a drug problem, and an alcohol problem. Gender problem. And everyone else seems to be breaking loose because there's two massive armies outside. They're fighting one of them is the army of light led by our hero, the Lord Jesus and the others. The power of Darkness book by Satan in the right that door and they're doing battle right now. I don't want to tell again, the most mature Christian Satan wants your mind. He wants your marriage, he wants your ministry, he wants your heart, he wants your home and it has a Non-Stop 24-hour battle against a Relentless enemy.

I guarantee there's a few Ohio State Buckeye fans here. Oh yeah, I know that man, I know where I'm at. Can you imagine your Buckeyes playing for the championship and all of a sudden is time for the big game and the cameraman shows the opposing team jumping up and down with their helmets, on running out on the field. The camera goes to the tunnel where the Buckeyes are coming out and they're not, they're, they're not in the locker room. They're not at the stadium. They didn't show up about your brother, Rick.
