Sermon Tone Analysis

*John 15:16 (KJV) * \\ 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and /that/ your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

*There should be at least two calls by God in you life:*

We believe that it was us that chose God

It was me that we to Church

I heard the message

I got saved

 

It was God that woke you up

It was God gave you the desire to attend Church

It was God that touched your heart

 

*Deuteronomy 7:6 (KJV) * \\ 6 For thou /art/ an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that /are/ upon the face of the earth.

*Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) * \\ 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, /and/ I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

I.                   Chosen to be a Witness

*Isaiah 43:10 (KJV) * \\ 10 Ye /are/ my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I /am/ he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

II.

Chosen to bring forth fruit

·         Not pew Sitters

·         But workers

 

Fruit=produce, crop, out growth.

The word produce means:  to bring into being.

* Growth means increase

* Crops means harvest

 

 

 

III.

To be a vessel God uses to show the world who He is.

Be a minister:  *1 Corinthians 4:1 (KJV) * \\ 1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

The word minister means=under-rower.

A slave that sat in the belly of the ship and pull the oars

b.   God is the captain and His ship is the word of God…we are to carry out His words.

·         You may not like being an ear and may want to be a nose;

·         but if God made you an ear, be a good one.

·          If God has made you a toe, walk well.

Be a support to the foot.

·         Because that is what God called you to be.

·         God need all kinds of people to appeal to all kinds of people

·         The Lord chooses just the right place for each of us.

How good it is for God to set us into the body of Christ

* If God call you to be a businessman—stay right where you are.

* You are needed in that position

* Housewife, be the greatest there is…

* If God planted you in the ministry…be an effective one in Jesus Name

* Where God has placed you…just be strong
