I. SPIRIT OF EXCELLANCE
DAN 5:11 There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
DAN 5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.
A. What Is An Excellent Spirit?
Excellance means: "exceeding" "surpassing" "go beyond" "brillant" or in todays language SUPER!
a. super-brightness
b. super-greatness
c. super-wisdom
LIKE THE BRIGHTNESS, GREATNESS AND WISDOM THAT CAN ONLY COME FROM GOD!!!!
IN HIS SPIRIT OF EXCELLANCE THEY SAW: LIGHT-ILLUMINATION; UNDERSTANDING-INTELLIGENCE; AND WISDOM (divine).
B. Daniel had an excellent spirit because he maintain faithfulness, diligence and good conduct.
**DANIEL WAS GOD'S REPRESENTATIVE
**DANIEL WAS THE CHRIST OF HIS TIME
AS LONG AS THINGS WERE GOING WELL IN HIS DAY; THEY NEVER BOTHERED DANIEL. BUT IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE, HE WAS THE MAN THEY NEEDED AND SOUGHT.
BECAUSE HE HAD AN EXCELLENT SPIRIT; THERE WERE THREE (3) THINGS HE COULD DO:

3. Spell breaking
II. SPIRIT OF FAITH (WAR)

III. LIBERAL SPIRIT
PRO 11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
PRO 11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
