Father, I thank You for giving me the opportunity to stand before Your People and give the Word You have Given me. Father I pray that You will remove me out of the way and let all that I speak come from You. In Jesus Name amen.
To Apostle, Elect Lady and everyone in their respective places

John3:1 give a description who Nicodemus is

Nicodemus represented the best in the nations
He was a teacher (John 3:10 “Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?” )
he was a Pharisee and a member of the Sanhedrin (The Jewish ruling council); the Sanhedrin had 70 members who were responsible for religious decision and also, under the Romans, for civil rule.
The Sandhedrin put Jesus on trial Lk22:66 “When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes. And they led him away to their council, and they said,”
Nicodemus later rebuked the Pharisees for condemning Jesus without hearing Him Jn 7:50-51 “Nicodemus, who had gone to him before, and who was one of them, said to them, “Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?””
Why did Nicodemus go the Jesus at night?
Jn3:2 “This man came to Jesus by night
Because of fear
Because it was the normal time for visits
He wanted a time of uninterrupted conversation without the distractions of the ever-present crowds.
How did Nicodemus began talking to Jesus
Jn 3:2b and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.””
The Bible Knowledge Commentary (3:2)
The titles “Rabbi” and “Teacher” are polite and flattering on one hand, but they showed Nicodemus’ inadequate comprehension of who Jesus is.

Nicodemus wanted to talk to Him as one Rabbi to another

Jn 3:10-11 “Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things? Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.”
John 3:12 (ESV)
If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
Nicodemus could not grasp the basic teaching of regeneration which Jesus presented in earthly similarities, how could he understand and believe the more abstract heavenly matters such as the Trinity, the incarnation, and Jesus’ coming glorification.
John 3:1-17 record a turning point for Nicodemus which he experienced after believing Jesus to be a worthy of allegiance. This turning point was a response to God and Jesus
