Why is Unity important?

Today I want to talk about Unity within the church. does anyone know the definition of Unity? What does Unity mean to you? God does not want to divide us. he wants us to be unify as one. as a church we have to like minded spiritually. Paul was writing to the church in Ephesians. Even today we as Christians are divided. So,today we are going to be looking at the passage in Eph 4:1-6.
Ephesians 4:1–6 NKJV
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
In this passage in Ephesians Paul is trying to convince the Church that there should not be division among them. Paul is wanting the church to understand that it needs to be united as one. what are somethings that you all notice out of this passage here in Ephesian?
Paul wants us to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called:
called pray within your means
called to serve, go serve within your means
