What is the lesson of the vine and the branches? Jesus talked about how grapes grow and compared it to how we should grow. In the story, Jesus is like the vine that gives the branches food, water and everything it needs to grow fruit. We are like the branches that grow out of the vine. When we're connected to Jesus, we'll produce fruit, too.

WHERE IS THE DISCONNECT, HOW DO WE, HOW DO WE BECOME DISCONNECTED FROM GOD?
WHERE IS THE DISCONNECT, HOW DO WE, HOW DO WE BECOME DISCONNECTED FROM GOD?
(1) NOT TALKING TO THE LORD! COMMUNICATION IS ESSENTIAL TO STRENGTHENING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. (WHEN WE MEET SOMEONE WE MAKE AN INTRODUCTION). (2) STUDY THE WORD, HOW CAN WE SAY WE KNOW THE LORD WHEN WE DON’T SPEND TIME IN THE WORD. (3) ARE WE LISTENING TO HIM? (4) ARE WE SHOWING GRATITUDE? (5) ARE WE BEING MINDFUL?

WHY ARE WE (REASON) WE ARE DISCONNECTED FROM GOD? WE BECOME OVERWHELMED BY THE TRIALS AND AFFLICTIONS IN OUR DAY TO DAY LIFES. WE START TO LOOK AT THE SITUATIONS INSTEAD OF OUR SOURCE, OUR SUPPLIER, OUR SAVIOR. WE RUN AND PULL AWAY FROM THE SOUCE. SMALL AND SILLY THINGS CAN DISTRACT US. SOMETIMES WE CAN BE IN TOUGH SITUATIONS AND START TO BECOME OVERWHELM BY LIFE AN FILL AS IF GOD IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. SOMETIME WE ARE IN VERY TOUGH SITUATIONS, WHERE THE NEED IS GREATER THAN US, THAT IS EXACTLY WHEN AND WHY WE NEED TO STAY CONNECTED TO GOD.

What makes man separate from God?
Because of God's holiness and man's sinfulness, there lies a vast separation from one another. However; there is a solution: forgiveness. Just as sin separates us from one another, it also separates us from God.

Can God turn his back on you?
God hasn't forgotten you or turned His back on you. God's promise is clear: "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Can anything separate you from God?
ROM. 8 Verses 38 to 39. [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
