They received the word with all Readiness - Acts 17:11

They were excited about hear God’s word

They received it with an Open mind

They tested what they heard by the word of God

When we come to the House of God we need to be ready to listen – Ecc. 5:1

Why do we need to be ready to hear?

It Must Reflect Reverence and Respect

6. Are You Ready For The Judgement Day?

He will come again

• We have assurance of it because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ - Acts 17:31

• “He will appear a second time” - Heb. 9:28

The Lord Is Going To Come When We Least Expect

• He will come at an hour we do not expect - Matthew 24:44; Luke 12:40; Mark 13:32

• He will come as a thief in the night -1 Thess. 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10
