1. Joshua & the People could no longer depend Upon Moses vs.1

2. Joshua was to lead the people to New Places: Places only dreamed about vs.2-4

3. Know that as God was with Moses he would be with him vs.5

Be Strong and of Good Courage vs.6-9

Message to the People

1. The people would have to get use to a new voice vs.10

He started with the officers: vs.10

Prepare the people to get ready to move forward vs.11

They needed organizing

They needed time to prepare “three days”

They needed a positive view of the future “Ye shall passover this Jordan”

Those who had received the land was to aid those still seeking vs.12-14
