The Evolution of Mankind

Intro

The last few weeks we have been discussing the creation of the world and the universe. Looking at how God made everything. the Fight that all of this culminates at the creation of Man.

Man was was Gods final creation on Earth. Man is Satan's target because of this phrase. “Let Us make man in our likeness.” God imparted within mankind his Spirit and the enemy hates it. So He works to destroy us.

So the Next few weeks we will begin looking at the Humankind and how we live.

Today we will look at the basics of Creation Vs Evolution.

Genesis 1:26–27 ESV

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Evolution and Humans

Many People believe humans evolved

over 100K years ago from a distant ancestor (Lucy).

It is commonly believed that our closest Primate ancestor is a Chimpanzee

The belief is that chimps and neanderthals separated genetically 20 Million years ago or so?

then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

God made man out of dust. Carbon. Organic material. then the Lord breathed into him.

Simply written, though not simply executed.

you see Evolution is based on the idea, that cells are Malleable over time. It rests on this idea that that that you can take a cell and over time with thee proper conditions found only in nature, reprogram that cell to do something else.

In Darwins pre DNA world this was a fine fantasy, but in modern science it is understood that this is not possible.

A cell is programmed to do what a cell is programmed to do. A Cell cannot cease being a human cell unless its author rewrites said cell.

When DnA was discovered in 1869 and then began to revolutionize the scientific world because biologists began to understand that cells are not lumps of clay to be molded by their surrounding environment. Cells are designed and written like a language deep within you.

Deep within your atoms on the smallest level are sequences of As, Gs, Ts, and Cs that all link together to write on your DNA instructions on how your cells will behave.

This is key! Because it is the reason that you cannot take a chimpanzee, change its environment and get a human.

Because deep within chimp DNA is written by God, that a chimpanzee is a chimpanzee. A Human a human.

Desperate a attempts have been made to find a link between these 2 primates.

Lets Look at Lucy. Early missing link human ape like combo.

They only found the brown peaces the rest of of it they imagined and gave more humanlike features because scientists needed a missing link. But recent studies on the Lucy skeleton.

Now I grew up with the Lucy missing link being proof that the bible wasn’t true, but again modern science has shown that the Lucy skeleton is likely an extinct ape and not a human at all.

Last thing and then I will move on from this science stuff.

It has long been said that humans and chimps share 99% the same DNA. Interesting. Sounds convincing. But it isn’t true.

When they compared the DNA of humans and chimps they left out 25% of the human DNA and 18% of the Chimp DNA. When you take out those differences you get 98.7% similar DNA.

If however you add those differences back in you get 82% Similarity.

Neanderthals, surely they are the missing link, but no even the Field museum in Chicago has had to update their neanderthal exibite because it has been found that neanderthals were just humans they believe that has diseases

Conclusion, We are all made of the same stuff. But that stuff behaves very differently depending on How that DNA is arranged.

So at the end, what can we conclude?

That there is a creator, who wove this universe into existence for a purpose. It was not by happenstance that you and I are here. We are here because the divine creator called us out of the vast potential that is the human genome and he spun you into being. You
