I. Introduction

A. Memorial Typically is tied to the Death of the person who is being Memorialized
B. The Lord is a Living Memorial

II. The Everlasting Power in His Name

A. Unaided exsistence
i) I Am that I Am
a. God’s exsitence depends on nothing
ii)
B. Unending exsistence
i) Notice I Am is in present tense
a. Not I was, or I will Be, or I became
ii) Speaks to eternity past
iii) Speaks to eternity future
C. Unlimited exsistence
i) His name is not tied to elements
ii) His name is tied to Himself

III. The Everlasting Promise in His Name

A. Generational
i) God of your Fathers
a. Abraham
b. Isaac
c. Jacob
ii) God of all the Generations
B. Great
i) Jehovah
C. Glorious

IV. The Everlasting Presence in His Name

A. Personal Presence
i) Ex 3:12 “So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.””
B. Perpetual Presence
I) Ex 3:15 “Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’”
C. Promised Presence
I) Ex 3:17 “and I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’”
