Christians: God’s Standard of faithfulness hasn't changed

Vs 17

Neheim - Console, to have compassion, To alleviate sorrow

The Point: They have been unfaithful and have been punished for it. They are now in a position when they should be experiencing ease and peace but they are not and God is not ignorant of this. He will again choose them and make them His people who will bring about The Messiah
