The Right Man For The Job.

1. Faithful.

A, The Right man will be faithful to,

His family. They will be his first priority.

His Preaching. He will exegete Scripture properly ( being able to teach).

His conduct. He will be the same man at home that he is at church.

2. Self-controlled.

A, The Right man will be able to control his conduct.

i. He will keep his alcohol under control. this is temperate.

ii. He is to be sober-minded. not have his head in the clouds.

iii. He will not be given to wine (to the passions associated with drunkeness).

iv. able and willing to teach.

3. Mature.

A, The right man will be mature enough to not be tempted to pride and fall into the same problem as the devil.

i. The right pastor will be one mature enough to guide the church forward beyond where they are.

ii. If he is young in the faith, he won’ t be able to do it.
