This Week’s Word is The Wisdom of God means that God always chooses the best goals and the best means to those goals
Memory Verse: Proverbs 4:7 “7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
Essence of the Text in a Sentence: Solomon expressed in this set of proverbs the actions of a wise person
Sermon Proposition: Christians should exhibit the actions of a wise person.
Sermon Objective: I want those in attendance to analyze their past or current responses to wrong and align them with God’s way.
Sermon Text: Proverbs 22:3

I. AVOID EVIL COMMUNICATION

1 Corinthians 15:33 NKJV
33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

II. AVOID EVIL CONGREGATING

Proverbs 24:1 NKJV
1 Do not be envious of evil men, Nor desire to be with them;
Proverbs 23:6 NKJV
6 Do not eat the bread of a miser, Nor desire his delicacies;
Psalm 1:1 NKJV
1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

III. AVOID EVIL COMPANIONS

Proverbs 28:7 NKJV
7 Whoever keeps the law is a discerning son, But a companion of gluttons shames his father.
