But two weeks ago, we had our daughter. She thought it said a lot to heading to Uganda. Next Sunday, they're heading to Uganda. They will be spending two weeks over there and so we would ask that you would be praying for them because some areas are not too nice over there. They going over with a lady who's been doing missions all of her life. She's from New Zealand as her church. They, they met her and that she's been going to the church on a yearly, sometimes more often basis, but every once in a while she tries to get people to go with her on a missions trip. And these two decided that they wanted to go and I'm happy for them, but also, like, even when I go, it's you pray, you have to pray a lot. So we would welcome your prayer for Tammy and Nelson as they head over to Uganda. They going to be arriving there around 11:00 at night, in the missionary that they're going over there, going to meet her over there, she's arriving there about 2 in the afternoon from Kenya, so she's already going to be over in Africa for a week or two before. And then she's going to go to Uganda on the day that they arrived, but 2 in the afternoon and she wants to drive. I bought a five hour drive 5 hour drive after they arrived in. You got to get to the point where they're going to be Ministry and I suggested that they do not drive that time because nighttime is when The belt not-so-nice people around. and not just in Africa, but it almost every country included, the United States Leo, but the guy

That will not that there will not be room enough to receive it. And otherwise, you said, I want to feel you. I will bless you all weren't above anything that you can imagine. And it's not always with money. People think that if I give money, it's going to, let me say what I get twice as much. How many times do we hear? Evangelist on television? I asked you this morning.

about 5:30 I was watching, I usually put a music channel channel, want to listen to music, but as I was going through there, there was one that says receive your blessings and I stopped there for a minute and the guys Perfect timing. All right, there is 30 people out there, 30 people that today, you need to give $1,000. Hey, you're going to get back 10 times that much from the Lord. So I quickly at turn the channel. Because that's not how the Wii. The Lord works. But your blessings will come in many different ways. One of the reasons were the main reason that I'm preaching on this today and trying to teach this, not so much preaching. But teach the principle behind giving is that when we weren't here last week, there were 40 people in the church and with the 40 people that we're here. We receive an offering of $500.

That's not much money. And when you have a building as big as this and do the repairs, and the upkeep just too, and I'm not sure if everybody knows this, but our gas bill this past winter doubled, in price, we had a bunch of 1883 dollars a month and went up to almost $4,000 a month. That's a lot of money for heat. And the electricity. I don't have the air conditioning on, but I do have the fan on. And we're going to try to cut back on every area that we can turn off the lights when we're not. And it's not in. Use the temperatures turn down as low as we can possibly do it without freezing pipes, and we don't want to be wasting the money. But we need to receive some money to be able to keep the church going.

Who do you call? When your children. Some questions for you. Who do you call when your children or grandchildren need prayer? Maybe something has happened to them and they're sick or they've got injured, who do you call? Who do you call? When you are struggling struggling with an emotional problem, right now, my I received the message this morning after I got here from my son down in Georgia and he's going through them an issue right now and emotional issue is just he hasn't been able to sleep and eat every time he eats, he he wants to get you want some vomit because there's so much stress on his mind. So who do you call? Who do you call? When you, when you need spiritual encouragement or Enlightenment, who do you call when friends or family need prayer for salvation? Who is that person or that Ministry that you call?

I hear for the pastor's that people say they love the pastors preaching. But they don't like the way that the money is spent, so they don't give to the church.

Maybe some sit think that here, maybe they think that were spending too much for spending money on a 2005, Toyota Camry. You want, we should be driving something less expensive than that off. And I hear people say that they don't give to the church because they don't trust that. The money is being spent. They don't like the fact that the path to drive a new car or a dependable car. They don't like the fact that maybe the clothes that he wears or she wears Yet they continue to go to the church for whatever reason they, they like the way that preaches that he preaches or she preaches. They like the things that they say that they, that teaches that they get, yo, like from Pastor Rob, the other teaching said that him and then give on Wednesdays. They just don't give to it. He said, what are you doing? And I use a couple of the words I said, God wants a cheerful Giver. He doesn't want some of this trying to bribe to control. If you can't give cheerfully that don't bother giving it all. And I mean that today, if you can't give cheerfully that don't bother giving it all. I know the house is going to be yelling at me after church for saying that, but that's what we need to do. God wants a cheerful Giver. He wants to bless you. He wants to bless you, you wants to bless you at home, but you have to do a cheerful, he's not a controlling issue of giving.

I order these pants from last week and it was it was a lot of money was $3 there. Yeah, I was going to take her out then I was going to take her out to eat after church but I couldn't do that because even McDonald's, I can't find McDonald's for $3.

So most of us don't normally have spare money to save or take it to give so when we tied, we're putting God to the test. We're saying we are saying yes, what I believe that you are the god of your word and I am giving in faith. When we give in faith, we are trusting God to provide Mary Beth. And I since October, I I think I've received one paycheck and she's receive three paychecks. Since October. I don't know how many of you can live on that much. We do have a retirement for small Social Security retirement, and we tied on that every week. Because we're trusting in God, provide.

If you'd like to see are offering which we can call it up on the computer and show you our offerings for the last year. So how much money that we should have been making? But we don't because why we pay all our bills first,

At the church and we tie the church ties. We tithe God says, I will provide you have to use your faith to please. God, as you step out in faith to return your tithes and you're offering, you are showing God that you believe in him and great shall be your reward.

When I think it was when I first started here, I I told it I was speaking one time on tithing

and one of the principals are really got to me when I did this back, when I first got saved, it was a Sunday night service. I was working. High tide at a hospital as a nurse. Actually AdCare Hospital in Worcester Mass for alcoholics and drug addicts. and, I get paid on Friday and it was a small amount of still had to pay my rent and everything else was the first of the month. So I had to pay everything. I had $20 left in my pocket. The last me until the following Friday when I get paid and that was to drive 20 miles each way to go. Visit my wife, she wasn't my wife at that time. She was a girl that I was dating.

We had a missionary in and I felt the Lord saying gift cuz they were taking an offering for him. And I reached into my pocket, I'm looking in all, it was a $20 bill.

And I will listen to what you going to have to help me. I got to find some way to break this money. He's a give it all trust me.

But but I kept saying to myself, but if I give this that, I don't have the money to go. Visit my wife to see her, I don't want her the money to get gas.

Trust me. So when the plague came around I gave the last I had not another dollar, didn't even have changed my pocket. I gave that night with church ended up as we're leaving the church at I have the the honor of walking up the church at the end of the night and and the foyer there was a couple couples standing around ya talkin and one of them came over to be in today. I wasn't a pastor at that time. It's a date. Can we talk to you? I said sure. And they took me off to the side and the husband was there and the wife was started to cry. She said we are sorry. I used to do photography before and I had that the wedding photography for that family. and I, Did the order gave it to them? They said they would pay. They never paid.

I didn't go after we got at that time, we just go well Wrote it off as wash money.

And they took out of their pocket. Over and above the amount that they owed me and they gave it to me and it was all in cash.

Excuse me. I thank them for the gift and I said you didn't have to do what they said we did. Because we saw you giving.

And I thank them again and we hugged and braised and they left is still waiting for the people to leave. So I can go and tell Mary Beth won the joy that I had some money now in my pocket and be able to go to see her. Another couple came up to me. I had done the photograph for photography, with his son's High School, senior pictures and they had ordered several pictures and they owed me money.

This was a couple years before I went to the church. but they recognized me and they gave me the money that the old

I walked out of that church that I put over $600 in my pocket. I gave 20.

I immediately went to the pastor and counted out 20%.

Cuz I felt that's what I was supposed to do. So it was a tide on the money, but it also was at offering to give The Lord has blessed be. And he will bless you. You need to trust in him and when you trust in him, you will see that he does so much for more more for you. What is tithing? Tithing means, 10% or 1/10. One tenth of a dollar ten cents on the dollar $10 on $100.

$100 + $1,000. 1/10. God's word tells us that the first 10% of everything that we earned or receive belongs to him. They hide is not paid or given in return. It is returned. It's not paid to God. It's not paid for the church. It's return to God that first 10% for longs to him. So therefore you cannot pay or give something that does not belong to you in the first place. Do you realize that you can't pay something that you don't own? That 10% Is Not Yours. Its God, God says in Malachi 3:8. If you don't return the tithe and offering to him, you are you are a thief. Why our bills aren't being met, why we can't do this on that? Maybe we need to take a look at our giving.

The only way God works will be. Done on this Earth is if God's people gives give of their finances, certainly the world isn't going to get finances in the end in the end time Harvest. No, it's, it's responsibility of the, it's the responsibility of the church in God's people to give we can expect to get money from the, for the world. People say, I'll give you this granting, this money for this, this company, everything is the church's responsibility to give What time it is. Tithing is not 5% 2%. 15% 20% or 30%? It's 10%. Tithing is not just for the for the week that you happen to go to church.

Tithing is 10% of the total that God is giving you for income.

If you miss a week.

If you miss a week of attendance at the church, you should make up your tie the following week. If you are absent from church for number week, some people go away for three or four five weeks. You should mail you a weekly tied into your church office. Hi, this is not what you give to a needy family. A charity or other Mission Ministry, other than your local church. Your tide is not the church building fun. It's not the benevolence fund or any other fun that we may have out there. The window, find the roof on that. Your tithe is not again. Not the building fight. Your tide is not designated if you designated, it's not a tide.

Like a man said, he Malachi 3:10. God's is breathing to bring the whole tide. It's at the storehouse, the storehouse refers to the place, where you worship the place where you, where you are fed, the tide is to be returned to your home church and place the place where you are spiritually fed, where you give to support Charities and other Ministries. You should be giving out of the offering. The overabundance above the tides, the whole tide belongs to your local church. Are you hearing me at home? Point number two, God says if you will put him to the test in tithes and offerings eventually you will see great blessings over take your life even to the point that you will see God, open Windows above us to supply you and your family. I kind of want those blessings to come upon my family and God will rebuke the Devourer according to Malachi 3:11. You have an enemy that will steal all your finances but where you bring God the whole tithe and the offerings as he leads you God will rebuke the enemy. When you become a follower of Jesus Christ, the enemy gets kissed on and he starts taking aim at you. He wants to destroy you. He wants to destroy your faith in your belief.

Finances and you can go online and YouTube, search YouTube search you have Facebook and you will see testimonies of people who were hurting for financial reasons. And they started time when they when they could not afford to tide. So they thought it's God's either for blessings upon them almost nightly. We watch that one. Go to bed. And almost nightly, they have testimonies about people who have given

And it's not just a change that they have in their pocket. You need God's help. If you're going to make it financially in today's world and the tough times that we're going to have and that we live in. We're not going to be in for another week. So, I took them out of the kitchen. People wonder why we have food out the kitchen. Why why? We get food? We bring it in, we bring it in for that purpose. We gave him those fruit pasta High. Spaghetti and meatballs at work package. He's at, that's enough. That's enough.

Wish I was. They were takeout orders, only we brought they brought in between the meatballs and spaghetti and gives give it to them. During that day, they brought in over $1,500 in one day to go on their trip. So, thanks for those who prayed and

Thank you, Lord for the distress that we had to be able to prepare that. It was great working with our Tammy and Nelson and our grandchildren as they're making the meatballs Road Haverhill in the meatballs out for us. And actually we have many more meatballs than we anticipated. How many pounds of hamburger. Had made big meatballs.
