With most of the people you can count on, you and they agree on certain points. You all adhere to some of the same standards, at least in the area of life/work that they’ve earned your trust. But those who think differently than you, or even opposite, tend not to be people you know, without asking, will support what you’re doing or be there to encourage you should you fail. When we say God is on our side, most of that applies. As long as our side agrees with His. We agree we are sinners and need saving. That we can be unwise and need guidance. That we are weak and need help through a situation. That our aim is to grow more every day into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Just remember, God’s standards won’t ever change. Neither will His love for you. In that you can fully trust.
