Before time had yet begun You knew that we would stand here on this property, preparing to dedicate this land and this home to You. In Your wise and wonderful knowledge You ordained that this day would come to pass in exactly the way that it has. Therefore, with confidence we stand before You, the King of Heaven and Earth to present ourselves, this property, this home, and all those who will step foot on this ground, that it would be set apart by You as a Holy Place. We pray that Your blessing and Your favor would rest upon this place and those who will inhabit it both now and forever. That Your Great Name would be honored here and Your purposes fulfilled.
4 Now every house is built by someone, but the one who built everything is God.
Lord, we recognize you as the giver of every good and perfect gift, the Author of Life, the Master Builder, and the One who is above all things, and through Whom all things hold together.
1 Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Even though this home has a physical builder, we pray that you would be its spiritual builder. That this home would be built upon the spiritual foundation of our Lord Jesus Christ and that You would honor Yourself through this home, through the meals that are shared here, though the conversations, the laughter and the tears, the good times and the bad, that this would be a place through which the love of Christ would shine brightly.
To You alone be all glory and honor and praise, In Jesus Name.
