I.    Digest it - store it on the inside

      A. Memorize  Ps. 119:11

      B.  Meditate  Josh. 1:8a; Ps. 1:2; 119:97; I Tim. 4:15

II.  Demonstrate it - show it on the outside

      Josh. 1:8b; Rom. 6:17; Ja. 1:22-25; I Tim. 4:16

III. Declare it - speak it on all sides

      Mk. 16:15; Rom. 10:14,15; I Tim. 4:13; II Tim. 4:2

IV. Defend it Jude 3

V.  Deposit it II Tim. 2:2

Conclusion:  Each of these three points depends on the previous point.  It is very difficult to demonstrate on the outside what is not on the inside, and if you do succeed at this, you are guilty of hypocrisy.  If you try to declare the Word of God without having   sufficiently memorized or meditated upon it, you will soon find yourself in a corner or over your head with too many questions you can’t answer.  If you do not demonstrate the Word of God in your life, you will lack the boldness and confidence to properly declare it, and no one would want to listen if you did.  All of these steps become easier if you love the Word of God (Ps. 119:47,48,97,113, 119,127,140,159,163,165,167).
