Opening

For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: 2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; And a time to mourn.
A time to be angry, a time to be sad, and a time to be hurt. And I am all three of these.
I am angry because we shouldn't be here, Jake should be with us. I am sad because he is not, hurt because I cannot understand how the loving God I serve allowed this to happen.
I know you all feel a similar range of emotions.
every time I think of Jake I see his smile. His whole face lit up and even his eyes smiled. It made you happier just seeing it. It was a look of pure joy and happiness.
I remember the summer when he was 14 when he and three of his closest friends set up the warehouse and Distribution center for Helping Hands Pantry.....
We try to take solace in the knowledge that Jake is resting in the arms of Christ.
And we have the promise of seeing Jake again when Christ returns and lifts us all for eternity.
But until then we live with this hole in our hearts because Jake is not with us,
